CRIMSON SKY

CRIMSON SKY

She raises the rock which glows softly in her hands. “Let’s go.” She leads them into the portal. “That is our castle!” I blurt in surprise when they exit the portal. “That castle could have been in any of the other fifty-four African countries. Everyone has one in their witch’s grounds, and the castles all look the same. But those people earlier are definitely the Council of African Witches of that time,” Iditan says after a long moment of silence. We watch as the witches stay in harmony for the next years, the Europeans staying mostly in the castle and learning from the great repertoire of spells of the Africans, while teaching them what they also knew.

The Blood Of A Deity

The Blood Of A Deity

"Another elder invited me to his house. He told me that the people of Ohanta have done everything within their power to reduce the number of virgins that disappear from the community every season. This includes marrying their daughters off at a very young age, paying the men handsomely to accept brides that are not their choices. As I was coming back from his house, I heard a strange sound in a nearby bush. I took a closer look and was horrified. The bulls have come for me. They stood and gave me a prolonged gaze as if they were trying to tell me that my time has finally come. "The folklore is about to become a reality," I whispered to myself.

The Alpha's Pen Pal

he said, lifting it by one corner and showing the cover to me, “is filled with the stories of our people. Every werewolf family has a copy, and all werewolf children grow up hearing the tales.” “So… they’re fairy tales like Cinderella? Or myths like Pandora’s Box?” I asked, taking the book and examining it. It was an old book with a dark green cover, embossed with gold scrolling around the edges and on the binding, with the title “The Goddess’s Tales” right in the center. Despite its age, it was still in wonderful condition, with hardly any deterioration.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the second book but I’m also thoroughly disappointed that the author has chosen not to continue putting her books in this venue. Unfortunately, I’m unable to afford purchasing from a book store or online seller the next 2 books she’s written.

Allie is a wonderful and talented writer and author, I have so much to say but, very limited space, I love the beautiful and true life wisdom and positive tone, flow and everything this story had to offer. The only thing I can complain about is that I wish there were more chapters to read.

Unholy Alliance: True love and Sacrifice

Unholy Alliance: True love and Sacrifice

Ada was not the first, there are places all over Africa where children have been tagged witches or wizards and have been subjected to death, ostracization or abandonment where they are left in the streets to die off, a few lucky ones have been fortunate to fall into the hands of people who cared while others weren’t so lucky. As Ada curled up in corner of a table in front of a closed shop that night, two men walked out from the dark corner smoking weed, they walked over to the front of the shop where Ada was hiding and they sat on a table smoking “Omo anybody wey pass here this night must drop money” Habeeb had the accent of a Lagos street thug, he was a notorious pick pocket, the other was

Crimson's Bloody Rogue

Crimson's Bloody Rogue

Yeah, I know… I admit that I am a dog lover, but I am head over heels for those dogs that resemble a wolf’s looks. “Do you wanna hear the story of the bloody werewolf rogue that I told you earlier?” she asked me again and I nodded my head even though I ain't interested at all in any folklore story. The truth is, I am fed up with those lies. Fairy tales are only for children and I am no longer a child.

A Fairy's Wolf

A Fairy's Wolf

Conri went on and sat down "They took my mother when I was just a little boy. I'm sure you've heard of how Greiner used to be our home?" Nuala's eyes widened and she listened to him tell the story of how the fairies had gotten rid of all female werewolves. She felt sorry for him, of course she knew the story too but they were taught at Greiner that all werewolves were dangerous and a serious threat to all Fairies and so it was fair in her mind but after listening to Conri and being in his presence, she realized they weren't as they were described.

Love And Tales

Love And Tales

Just then, I could hear groaning, more like tussles of ranging elephants as bullets whizzed out of the building. The car's engine roared, as I anticipated his return. A few minutes later, I could see kids running out of the building, some running into the woods as fast as their tiny legs could carry them. How could I forget, Ralph was in the military before my dad asked him to take over one of his companies? Handling bad guys was much of his thing as he was experienced. “Where the hell are you, Ralph?” I asked my grip firm on the steering, my gaze darting around in search of him.

kept away from everyone and un-socialised she had animals as friends and talked to them because there was no one else. He then dived into the water and the others too dived looking for him. "Ayude (I've found him)!" shouted another, resurfacing with Okayo on his back. The others rejoiced. "Tangu, Tangu," called out another. "Eee," chorused the rest, and the game continued. It was the dramatization of an old folklore in which a fishing crew (Tangu) dared the torrent waves and sea beasts to save the life of a boy seized by a crocodile while bathing at the shore of Nam Lolwe, the great lake of the people.

A book to pick from the shelf. Felt i was reliving times here, those wonderful moments in the history of a people. The Blue-eyed's intention with the bell and the tree's inexplicable powers are itchy... felt like I just wanted to know it all. This is a five-star novel, can't hesitate to say. ???

Wolves Tale

Unbeknownst to me, I was moving away, I was almost in the middle of the woods when I heard crackling sounds, my eyes widened when I saw Kevin, two monsters and them when the direction of the pungent odor direction. I immediately backed away and hid in the nearest tree. A monster carrying a girl and monster lay down the girl in front of Kevin. He seemed very happy with the unconscious girl they got. It was too late for them to get the 11th woman they needed as a ritual sacrifice. I didn't know how to call them Reginald because I was so far away from them and Belle just confused us because they seemed to know we were coming for them too.
