GINI: The Wicked Saviour

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

Zahra whispered, not minding to hide the fear in her voice, “But why had they set fifteen huts ablaze?” “I can’t say for sure,” Dodo turned her attention to Zahra, “But my mother told me a story of how the three Kingdoms, after hunting, danced around a campfire. You want to hear the story?” “No,” Zahra and Ginika said in unison. They were not prepared to hear Dodo’s unending tale. She would only end up telling them of how her great, great, great grandmother, told her great, great grandmother and her great grandmother, to her… Her stories usually leave one hungry and light-headed, or it would knock you out.

Raven the lurker
I have gotten used to read female lead stories from her so this time when it is male lead it's quite a refreshing and interesting change up. The start is promising and very well written and it's not the typical type of a novel so give it a chance as this author never ceases from surprising you.

A Tale of Two Sisters

A Tale of Two Sisters

He stared at me fixedly, his gaze flickering as he said, "Tell me. Why did you presume I would eat you?" "Are you alright now?" I asked gingerly as I was taken aback—the antidote was that effective? Yoran raised a brow. "It's just an aphrodisiac. It's just a momentary bother." Aphrodisiac? Didn't that make him chew through Joey's neck before? "You weren't going to eat me when you licked my neck?" I demanded a little too loudly. "Wherever you heard that from?" He appeared amused. "Only rogues eat human flesh. Also, what was that you said you know?"

Desired By Two Alphas and One Beta

Desired By Two Alphas and One Beta

They were attacked by a pack of wandering wolves who called themselves the Unborn. Ania's story is still very much talked about to date In the pack, although it was said in hush tones because the tale was considered a bad omen. My mom told me her soul still longs for children’s blood now. Any time I remember her words I laugh because I believe the tales were told to scare children. The reality before now tells me more than I thought existed. My story was already similar to hers but without an end yet. I kept trying to wave off the thought from my head but the more I tried the more it fisted on my wit.

Under the Pale Moon

He wasn't sure but I was. "My grandpa called it the 'Afanc' but why it is here away from water, I don't know," I explained. I looked to Lee and then continued, "it is a demonic creature that is known in old Welsh legends. It lives in lakes and is large enough that whenever it was angry, it would break the banks and flooded towns."

It's a dream!

The soft breeze and the dancing of the trees kept u company as we made our way back to the cliff. The lady she spoke about, Shannara was African. If her skin was purely black then there was no way she was European. Their ignorance about the race meant they don't know Africa which is impossible because everyone knows there are different races. Even if Charlaedon is a remote village in the world some things are ought to be known. What century did they exist in?

Mother

Mother

When he was done with setting up the projector and sound system made available to teach the Eastwood College, year one faculty of arts students, he gave out a loud clap to stop them from chattering. Professor Kare was the head of department of the history and international relations department. These were one of the things Arlene found strange, from what she has heard he barely left the house as a kid, and at a point they lived abroad, so she couldn’t tell why these things fascinated him when he had never seen them before. “Today we’ll be looking into Cota, the capi

A LEAP OUT OF THE MIRE

A LEAP OUT OF THE MIRE

I greeted respectfully. He nodded simply, letting me move ahead of him. "Daddy! Good evening sir." Tina bent down in greeting. We were Yoruba's and we didn't play with respect, no offence to other tribes. I honestly feel that no one can rival us in terms of respect. We were simply the best in all things. "Tina, how are you?" "I am fine, sir." "Good evening sir," Ada said without standing up from her spot on the floor. "How are you?"

Whispers of Sikar

Whispers of Sikar

"A long time ago, before our people settled here in the mountains, the tribe of our ancestors was decimated by a horde of men who came from across the seas to the east, known for their crimson garments that struck fear into the hearts of all who saw them. It was a story our parents told us growing up. Have you really never heard it before?" "No," Adea muttered. "Our parents don't tell us many stories of our people's history." "I heard of a legend that says the other side of those mountains is a realm of the Spirits." Everyone turned their attention to Lyda as she spoke up. "It's said that the mountains cannot be traversed, so there are secret spots throughout these territories that may act a
