It didn’t destroy it and it remembered it. The Forgotten soldier shuddered, its vacant black eyes cleared, showing confused, scared eyes of the young woman she once was. She looked at Finn, lips silently saying his name, then faded into a gentle silver mist that rose and vanished. The ancient oath, fully awakened, was not a shield and it was fire. It reminded the Forgotten who they were and set them free.
