THE BILLIONAIRE'S PROMISE

THE BILLIONAIRE'S PROMISE

The words danced off the page, hinting at a secret from Victor's past, a connection that he had long forgotten or deliberately buried. My heart quickened with anticipation, a mixture of excitement and apprehension coursing through my veins. "Victor, this could be a turning point for us," I murmured, my voice filled with a blend of curiosity and concern. "We must uncover the truth." Together, we embarked on a quest to unearth the hidden layers of Victor's past, delving into forgotten memories and unearthing long-buried secrets. We retraced his steps, tracing the footsteps of a younger Victor through faded photographs, faded ink on aged letters, and the whispers of those who had once known him

The Cursed Alpha is My Mate

The Cursed Alpha is My Mate

I muttered as I ran toward my chambers, driven by a strange pull, a gut feeling that something was there waiting for me. In my room, I scanned my surroundings, something drawing me to a concealed compartment behind my bookshelf. I opened it, finding a small, worn book—a diary. My heart sank as I opened it, the words inside telling a dark, familiar story. This wasn’t just any diary; this was Luna Nora’s collection of secrets, a meticulous record of every vile act, every betrayal. The curses, the deaths, the machinations that had torn my family apart—it was all here.

Whispers of the Forgotten

Whispers of the Forgotten

A week later, Lyra found herself standing outside a secluded memory dive clinic in the shadowy underbelly of Elysium. The air in this part of the city felt heavier, thick with the weight of secrets and whispers. The clinic was an unmarked building, but its sleek exterior and state-of-the-art security system gave away the wealth and power of its clientele. This wasn’t the kind of place where average people came to retrieve or erase memories. This was for those who paid top dollar to make sure their secrets stayed buried—or recovered things they didn’t want the world to know existed.

The Hidden Secrets

The Hidden Secrets

"You've got no right to talk about love. A hidden girlfriend? Nah, just my replacement." Anger surged within me. Before I could shoot back, her smile turned cruel. She shoved past me, knocking my shoulder hard. "Know your place." Her footsteps faded, leaving me clutching my chest. The pain was unbearable. Luke failed me, but Karma always came back around. Once I calmed down, I went home. Mike called. "Your fiancé got you an animal biology book with real specimens inside. Pretty cool, right? How are you going to thank me?"

ALPHA'S CURSED MATE

ALPHA'S CURSED MATE

Ronan said. We moved through the hall, past locked doors and dusted portraits. Every frame held someone who looked a little like him—eyes that were too sharp, postures that dared you to challenge them. At the end of the corridor, Ronan pressed his hand against a sliver of stone that didn’t quite match the rest of the wall. There was a soft click, and a hidden panel slid open. I raised an eyebrow. “Secret doors? Really?” “It was built during the Forgotten War. My family was paranoid. For good reason.”

The Secrets They Keep

The Secrets They Keep

Okay, so maybe that drawer wasn’t going to hold any secrets she’d be interested in. “Third time is a charm,” Violet whispered and opened the last draw on the left side. “If I was an alcoholic,” she breathed when she saw all that it held was a large wide bottle of something no doubt alcoholic and a couple of glasses. “Damn it,” she said and turned to the right side and opened the first drawer. It was filled with blank paper and note pads. The second jerked with a loud knock as she tried to open it. Locked. Licking her lips, Violet once more glanced back to the door then down at the drawer. The keyhole was obvious. She wasn’t sure how she missed it.

Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

Something waiting. --- Determined not to be paralyzed by fear, I returned to the antique bookstore — to the stories, the secrets, the fragments of forgotten women. The elderly owner greeted me with a knowing smile. “You’re searching for answers,” he said quietly. I nodded. He handed me a leather-bound tome, its cover worn but strong — *Reflections of the Forgotten*. “Read carefully,” he advised. “Sometimes the past speaks through shadows.” --- I spent the night poring over its pages. The book told of women trapped in illusions, caught between worlds — ghosts of themselves, struggling to reclaim their true identities.

HIDDEN SECRETS

mom says when she sees her, getting close to her, tears filling her eyes immediately. "Mommy!" She calls out, extending her hand to wrap around mom's neck. And that's when I notice, that she really has forgotten. Mommy. That's what she used to call our mother when she was fourteen, but as she grew up, she said it sounded baby-ish, and so she started calling her mom. Is it possible she has forgotten two years of her life? "I'm glad you're all here" he sighs "Ms. Frost has been diagnosed with short-term amnesia. She has lost possibly a few years of her memory" he pauses, and mom gasps. Dad leans against the wall, listening intently.

Remembering the forgotten

Remembering the forgotten

Fortunately, with the help of my friends in Italy and Greece, I finished my schooling in business course and applied as Barack's secretary who is now my fiancé. My heart was heavy upon reminiscing the past. It was squeezing me inside, preventing me from breathing smoothly. I did not know what happened afterwards, my mind was nowhere to be found. The next thing I just knew was we were already inside the van and my son was watching the colourful lights outside. I motioned my hands to my face and noticed my wet cheeks. I immediately wiped it with my fingers and heaved a heavy deep breath. Am I really ready to face my past and remember the forgotten?

The story was nice. I would love to read more about the main characters happy life. Also about Selena, Noah and Diana. If toy keep your promise and upload the epilogue or bonus chapter would be great.

I loved this book. It had some shocking and unexpected twists. My only critique is the improper use of pronouns and mix-up of the last name of Anastasia and Selena. The ending was perfect and I had a smile on my face as I finished it. ...️
