Found 100 Million In My Rented Apartment Novels & Stories

Gary really came through, he got me into a small fixer upper studio apartment, it wasn’t much but it was furnished and it was all mine. I just had to agree to keep it quiet and not draw attention. I don’t know what they normally charged for rent, but I didn’t care, $1,500 bucks bought me three months with electric and water included. I still kept most of my money in the bus locker, I didn’t trust leaving it in my apartment. I got myself a library card and took out all kinds of books. I got to know the ladies there and they were all in love with me.

I checked my b‌ank balanc‌e on my phone. $10,000,000.00 The number stared back at‍ me‍. Ten million dollars. The price of a b‌roken he‌art‌. I hadn't even made a dent in it. I stay‌ed in the best hotels‌. I ate at Michelin-star restaurants. I boug‍ht art I didn't und‍erstand just to have something to p‍ut on the walls of my empty apartment.

"He was giving it to her." Emma grabbed Grace's hand. "I'm so sorry." Rachel kept scrolling. "There's more. Sophia got kicked out of her apartment last year for not paying rent. Guess who paid her back rent and security deposit for a new place?" "Mason," Grace said flatly. But I thought she was from a wealthy family. "Yep. Twenty-two thousand dollars." "This is insane," Aiden said. "How much has he given her total?" Rachel did some quick math. "Over the past three years? At least half a million dollars. Maybe more. These are just the transfers I could find."

"I'd like to see it." He stepped aside without welcoming me inside. The apartment was small but clean. One bedroom, a living room that barely fit a couch, a kitchen you could touch both walls from if you stretched your arms. Well, great. "It's cool," I said, looking around. My voice sounded fake even to me. "What's the rent?" "Three thousand a month," he said, leaning against the doorframe. "What? A three thousand? For a one-bedroom?" I tried to keep the panic out of my voice. I'm pretty sure I failed because my face reflected my exact emotions.

The last crucial piece of evidence I had been searching for had been served to me on a silver platter. I went over the contract closely and started screen recording. As soon as I scrolled to the page about the rent and saw that the monthly rent was 10,000 dollars, I took a screenshot, circled it in red, and sent it to the group chat. 'The monthly rent for the entire apartment is 10,000 bucks,' I stated. 'Cecelia, you're staying in the master bedroom while charging me 7,000 every month for my room. You sure are making a profit, huh?'

In the end, I won the case. My apartment was 2,000 square feet and located in a prime residential area, so it could bring in at least 4,000 dollars in rent per month. With the restoration costs added, Jane owed me at least 230,000 dollars.

This is just perfect for me because it only cost 500 dollars. I chewed my lip and quickly dialed the number of the owner that was written at the bottom of the photo. “This is Mr. Park speaking?” a voice of an old man picked up the phone. “Hello, Mr. Park? I saw your ads on the website looking for a tenant, is this still available?” I asked nervously while picking on my nails. “Yes, yes dear!” he cheerfully answered. “My apartments are running out fast because it is cheap and beautiful. You can deposit your payment so that I can reserve it for you.”

I hadn't bought much, but somehow, all the little things added up. Checking my wallet, I realized I barely had 2,000 yuan left. This apartment—Caleb was only loaning it to me temporarily. But when I'd asked around earlier, I found out the rent in this area could easily run over 5,000. Even if he didn't charge me the full amount, what about my future expenses? I needed a job. Fast. Luckily, I'd brought the laptop Kane had bought me when I left. Just thinking about him made my chest tighten, but I forced myself to push through. I opened it, logged onto a job site, and started browsing.

Because while I was aspiring to be able to pay the tuition, he was being rude because he knew he had already bought me with his wealth. So that same night after he left, I called the bank to return the money he gave me. I never thought about the consequences of what I did in the contract, that is if we had it. Though I wasn’t able give back the whole million. I secured the tiny amount just enough to pay my college and the first months of my rent. Yes, I rented a tiny apartment for me near my university since It will be hard for me to stay on the dorm because of some rules.

I will do everything to help you out" She blushed immediately when she heard his manly word. "I have more than fifteen million here may be it should be enough for registration of all what it needed and for renting on a building for your office." "What? you have a fifthteen million on your card?" "Where did you get that money?" She asked curiously.
