197x FOUR YEARS, IT had been four years since Valentina last saw Johnny. He said he will be coming back when school was over, but four school years had passed yet no Johnny came back. 67 4 Years Later (Present) 6:20 AM Life has been magical. Every day I wake up I have a reason to spend my day, God has blessed us with our twins. Yes, I have two little mini samples of us; Isabella and Sebastian. One is a girl and the other is a boy. They’re almost four years old now and have been the apple of my eyes. I would never have had any thought about her from now on even without you mentioning it.” Nathan put on an enigmatic smile before going over to Faye and staring at her to say gently, “Fifi, we’ve been apart for four years, but you look better than before. I, on the other hand, have gotten much older.” Faye felt awkward under the man’s direct gaze. She dipped her head after a glance up at Nathan as a blush stained her cheeks. “You didn’t exactly change. You haven’t gotten older.” Nathan sighed. “My heart’s gotten older. I’ve been missing you every day these four years.”

Rhea Four Years Later The summer sun beat down warmly on the patio, turning the air golden and sweet. I stood by the large wooden table, folding the last of the tiny, colorful clothes that had just come off the line. Doing Zuri’s laundry had become my favorite kind of quiet. Everything was so small, so soft, carrying the scent of sunshine and lavender detergent. It was hard to believe that four years had already passed since our world changed forever, since everything broke, and somehow, we still managed to build something new from it.
