Mark Of Fury

Mark Of Fury

My lips invaded her neck hungrily and she gasped in shock when my fangs nipped her drawing blood. There was something different about her...she made me feel things I've only felt when I was with Hestia. Our eyes locked in a frenzy when I realized what I had done. Two dots were on her neck. she smirked at me. I marked her. And it wasn't just an ordinary mark. I had made her mine and it means that Galen can't have her anymore. I thrusted into her and her lips parted softly and I watched her eagerness. "You're mine now."

The marked mate

The marked mate

I drop the paint brush on the ground; I went ahead, already facing the door, Immediately I met the door back to Its normal look; not even a grain of paint is seen. "Okay! What the fuck; is it magic?" I spoke with a question. Mom laughs, she grabs my hand and we both walk away from the door, we stand at the gate and from there, I saw strange makings at the door. That’s!” I say but did not know how to finish my statement; that is when mom helped me out! "That's the called an enchantment mark, it forbids werewolves or anything supernatural to come Into an apartment without being invited," Mom walk back to the door.

The Dire Girl

The Dire Girl

“See what?” “The patch.” She turned to me quickly, still holding my arm as if only now realising she had not let go of it. “On their sleeves. I only caught it for a second but there was some sort of symbol stitched there. White on black. Circular, I think. No.” She frowned, forcing memory harder. “Not circular. More like... wings maybe. Or a crest. Something old-looking.” I looked toward the dark where the men had gone, but I had been too busy trying to stop Ayla dying to study embroidery. “I didn’t see it.”

The Lost Princess of the Alpha King

The Lost Princess of the Alpha King

The name echoes through my skull like a war drum. The Origin. It is not a threat. It is not a warning. It is an invitation. A summons. Something ancient and patient is calling me home to a place I have never known. I stand on the palace balcony, the wind whipping my fur, the marks on my wrist pulsing in an unfamiliar rhythm. The Watchers' mark is silver. The Unseen's mark is shadow. The remembrance mark is gold. And now, a fourth mark is beginning to form. Faint. Almost invisible. But there.

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

It had a diamond in the center, surrounded by an intricate carving design that got me curious the first time I saw it. Hunter took my hand and slipped the ring on my finger. It was only then that I recovered from my shock. I finally made out the design of the ring. The two-carat diamond center was surrounded by smaller diamonds that make out the shape of wings—like angel wings. Then he showed me the matching ring. It had a thicker band. The pattern revealed a sword with a small round diamond on its hilt. “This ring is mine. A symbol of my promise to always protect you… take care of you… guard you,” he said in a solemn voice. He placed the ring on his finger and then he raised his eyes to loo

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

The Marked

The Marked

"This is crazy. I don't even know you." "Your name is Ava." He said it softly, reverently. "Ava Marie Chen. You were born on June twenty-first, eighteen years ago. You have a birthmark on your right hip shaped like a crescent moon. When you were seven, you broke your arm falling out of a tree, and you cried more because you couldn't climb anymore than because it hurt." Tears were streaming down my face now, and I didn't even know why. "Stop. Please stop."

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

The classification goes like this: 1. Soul warriors. When the mark appeared on their bodies, they became soul warriors. Soul warriors are warriors born to fight and protect their pack and alpha. There are three divisions of soul warriors. The first had their marking located on their left shoulders, gifted with silver claws and bite. They were called Silver Souls. Similar to how silver affects most supernaturals, their claws and bites were deadly. They were strong, really.

Sapphire is bold, especially for someone who grew up in the kind of surrounding she was born in. However, I think she's a bit selfish. She's always quick to make decisions that she believed is best for everyone, unconsciously acting on what's best for her. She should learn to think on her own.

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

His presence was calming, reassuring, and she felt herself sink deeper into the moment. As she examined him in the brightness of the room, she could see every detail of his sleeping form, from the strong, wide span of his shoulders, down to the graceful curve of his lower back, and the birthmark that graced the top of his buttocks. The mark was in the shape of a wing, perfectly symmetrical as if an angel had marked him as their own. She reached out a hand and traced it lightly, her fingertips grazing the skin.

The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.

His Hybrid Luna

His Hybrid Luna

“He’s leading them?” “No,” I said, shaking my head. “He wouldn’t—” “He would if Elyra commanded it,” Dwayne cut in, his voice cold and certain. The warrior hesitated, glancing between us. “There’s more.” “What?” I demanded, dread curling in my stomach. The warrior’s eyes flickered with unease. “He was wearing the mark.” The room went deathly silent. “What mark?” Nancy asked, her voice trembling. “The mark of a severed mate,” the warrior said. “A blackened crescent over his heart. It means...”
