It’s purely a self-defense mechanism.” She looks at her glass and turns it in her fingers. “Do you know what a non-healing fracture is?” “No.” “It’s when the pieces of a broken bone don’t grow back together. Bones usually start rebuilding after they’ve been set. But sometimes bones don’t produce new tissue, leaving an aching pain and weakness.” She presses her hand to her chest. “That’s my heart, Hux. It’s been broken so many times that it has a non-healing fracture.”

Daniel ignited a dialogue. “I was not strong at that period, well, thanks to God I am here, how were your term exams?. Frank replied. “It is alright bro, the exams were good and I took the first position”. Daniel answered. “Wow!! Congrats bro; keep it up!”. Frank said, shaking his hands. “So here I am here to help you, I know it won’t be easy for you but you have to be strong”. (At this time, Daniel took him to his room to prevent any from hearing)

He had broken her to the core. To her it was so hard to be mended, when a bottle of wine falls to the floor shattering in to tiny pieces, the glasses can't be put together and even if you managed to collect the wine from there; it will be hard to drink it.
