The Forsaken Luna’s Revenge
"The Crimson Flame is carried by you. the most ancient fire. It rests inside of you. However, it stirs now.
I took a step back. "I'd rather not die."
"You're not required to," she stated. "But you have to burn to rise."
I paused. "Will it cause pain?"
Slowly, she nodded. "Beyond anything. But you will be reborn after the suffering is over.

I said, "I'll do it."
The woman smiled.
"After that, let the fire carry you."
I was completely consumed by the fire.
My bones, blood, and entire body were scorched. I let out a yell. I had the impression that I was being torn apart, fragment by fragment. I didn't stop, though. I gave it everything: my history, my pain, and my fear.
