Freaky Bedtime Stories Novels & Stories

He remembered how much Nathan used to hate insects and he would cry whenever one flew by. When they slept in a tent for the night, Nathan would snuggle to him in fear and hold onto him tightly, as if hoping the ‘night monster’ would go away somehow. He admitted it was partially his fault for scaring the small child. Chris created the ‘night monster’ story for entertainment. He did not think Nathan would whimper in his sleep. As guilty conscience was eating him whole, he let the redhead child cuddle him close and slept through the night. That was their first time sleeping together in one bed and holding onto each other. It felt weird thinking about it, but it was pleasant.

“Seriously Ashley, I might get upset if you go through my messages.” “Dumb boy messages, just let go of me, I don't care anymore.” “Promise?” “Yeah.” She scoffed and he did, she didn't try taking the phone again and he lay beside her. “You should be sleeping, it's late already.” “I know and am exhausted, but I can't seem to fall asleep. Can you tell me a bedtime story?” “Bedtime stories are for kids, not twenty-one-year-olds.” “Just tell me one.” “Okay, I don't really know much so how about I tell you the story of a demon who has lived for over a thousand years.”

By the time Mom whisked Meira in and out of the tub, dried off and in her pajamas, more than an hour had passed. Shadows deepened and lengthened, sighing into darkness as night took its turn. It didn't take much convincing to prop my sister up into her own bed. I curled up next to her in her big pink four-poster in her frilly pink room that always made me feel slightly nauseated in daylight. We listened as our mother told us a fairy tale. Even Sassy joined in the fun, finding a comfy place for himself on the satin bedspread between us. Meira blinked slowly, worn out from the earlier excitement. It didn't take long for the rhythmic sound of our mother's voice droning out a story to bring on

My friend Andrew said while laughing he knows this issue I have been having with my flat especially at night in my room. Am not surprised by his response I knew he would laugh at me and I would have done the same thing if he told me about his flat being haunted. He doesn't believe in ghosts nor do I but it takes small things to happen to you to start believing in things in my case it's paranormal things. I don't know what made me say that but that's the only thing I could come up with. Everything that has been happening is terrifying me cause it doesn't explain why I wake up every morning only to discover I am completely naked. It's not like I forget to put them every night before bed cause

A glance at my watch told me it was really late. "Please, sleepover," I told her. "It's late already and there are a lot of spare rooms here. You can go straight to bed. I'll tuck them both in." Matilda thanked me and accepted my offer. After a quick dinner, I got Finn and Freya dressed and ready for bed. Freya got to pick a bedtime story which I read aloud to them. Just as they drifted off to sleep, my phone rang. I quickly went outside to take the call before the noise could wake them. Derek was the one calling. I picked up the call and put the phone to my ear.

I whispered with a loving smile, “Which story would you like tonight?” Mike’s face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. “The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!” I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf’s rand adventure. Mike listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

As Skylar squatted down in bed, laughing at their tiredness, Andrew and Anna also sat up, resting on their pillows. She said, "Bedtime story, bedtime story. You love to listen to bedtime stories. Do you not?" For a moment, they both nodded their heads. I was standing by the doorstep, close to the point of unconsciousness. I was noticing Skylar guessing that I was still with them; I was quickly becoming lost in their gaze. It was a pleasure to have these adorable, intelligent kids around. I blushed as their lips moved gently, ready to question their mother, but Skylar asked them to remain quiet until she finished telling the bedtime story, sealing their lips with her fingers.

“Well, I just wanted to ask if you can read me a bedtime story. Granny’s angry now, and I know she won’t want to read to me tonight.” Cassy blinked, surprised, then chuckled faintly. “Really? I thought you said you were a big man. Why do you still need bedtime stories?” “Because…” He shuffled his feet, suddenly shy. “Because I used to have bad dreams. Monsters, scary ones. But anytime someone reads me the story about the prince—the one who saves people from monsters—I dream about him instead. He comes to save me in my sleep. So… I don’t have nightmares.”

I heard my door bell, and ran down,to see Ryan in pajamas pants and a white tee,he was holding some of my favorite snacks,I awwed as I saw the grocery bag,I took em and skipped excitedly to the kitchen and coming back out, with some ice cream in a plate,we stayed up Till about midnight, I yawned and told him I wanted to get some sleep. He said he had too as well,I showed him his room he mumbled about it not being a real sleepover if he wasn’t in the same room, I rolled my eyes and let him sleep with me in my room, and even.. on my bed

“Not tonight.” I left the leather volume on the worktable and practically fled to my bedroom. The sheets were cool when I crawled beneath them, still wearing my oversized sweater and lounge shorts. I pulled the covers up to my chin, closed my eyes, and willed myself to sleep. I’ll read more in the morning, I told myself. When the strange feeling is gone. When Stan’s angry words aren’t still ringing in my ears. Sleep came faster than expected, pulling me under like warm, scented oil.
