Chapter 54: Her Death Fera’s POV Her left hand flew to her mouth, she seemed like forgot how to breathe and just looking down. She knew it was Fred’s voice. “Your lying…” she almost whispered. “She was found dead in her car near the hospital,” his voice never sound joking. She knew that he would never pull a prank like that, especially in her situation. “You allow this to happen? Fred, is trusting a wrong decision?” She couldn’t believe it, her tears were shamelessly running down. “Fred, why do things failing on your watch lately?”

“We have to leave now Helga, the witches are to strong. Please I can’t lose you.” I didn’t say anything but the body I was in talked anyway. “Fredrick, this is the kingdom I came to fight for and serve I won’t leave, we can do this.” Out of nowhere a horde of witches appeared surrounding me and my mate they all began chanting looking down on us. “Run!” Fredrick said as he pushed me hard out of the way causing me to land into some nearby wolves. I watched in horror as the witches used a spell to blast into my mate killing him instantly.

No, no, please don't leave me," Freya pleaded, her voice trembling with heartache. She reached out her hands, attempting to channel her magic to heal the wound, but her efforts were in vain. The cut was too deep, and the damage too severe.

"S-scum, let me go... I-I'm dying..." Frederick's fingers instantly tightened. "Then, die!" Freya knew she was on the verge of death. He wasn't joking or threatening; he truly intended to kill her! And yet, he was the man she loved most! "Fred—" Freya tried to cry out, gasping for even a single breath, but her chest felt hollow, as if all the air had been stolen from her lungs. On the verge of suffocation, she stared at him, her eyes wide with terror and disbelief.

"You mean— you mean they are not dead?" Mom nodded. My lips parted more as I massaged my tight chest. "Are you serious?" Mom smiled. "It's just a potion." I covered my mouth as my hand trembled. "But— but Fenris was stabbed by Gonzalo. It wasn't the fireball that killed him, oh my God…" I ran towards Fenris and I fell to the ground as my knees couldn't take it anymore. I was trembling so bad, now that I was looking at all of his blood again.

And Ambrose could still do nothing but watch, as Sephora sent one last explosion of flame towards the dark lord - when Vince suddenly leaped forward, a wicked smile plastered on his face as he impaled Sephora with a spear of darkness. Ambrose roared and Vince only smiled wider. As he let Sephora's body collapse on the blood soaked ground and disappeared in an explosion of darkness. Ambrose's body was instantly released and he ran and dropped beside Sephora's body to see if she was still breathing. But Sephora wasn't breathing. Sephora was dead.

Leo laid beside her as she snuggled unto his muscular chest. The wizard was meditating when Joyce came once again to his side and this time, he held her close as they sat in silence. "When I saw you die, I felt my world shattered" Joyce confessed "But then there was something deep within me thag assured me that it was all a joke that you were not dead" she indicated. "Look Joyce, I am wizard and with my age and experience, cannot outplay me. I can only out play her instead" he stated and kissed her fore head.

There was so much he wanted to say, but all he could manage was a strained, broken whisper. "I'm…sorry…" As the words left his lips, his hand dropped limply to the side, and he closed his eyes. Wendy clutched him. "Don't give up! I can save you! Just hold on a little longer…" Lilian crouched beside them and placed her fingers beneath Harry's nose. There was no breath. Harry was gone. He had died, and it was by her hand. Wendy looked up at Lilian, her voice trembling with shock and disbelief. "Why would you do this? You tried to kill me? I'm your daughter—your own flesh and blood!"

Even trees were falling outside. Behind her, cracks were spidering across the ceiling. The scent of scorched stone filled the air. One by one, people were screaming. “Freya, please!” Alice shouted again. “Torin would have wanted you to live. He—he died for this!” It was those words. ‘He died for this.’ Freya clenched her hands. Her heart roared. Her voice rose in her throat in a surge of raw, vibrating magic. She screamed. And the air splitted.
