There’s a half-naked man on the cover, with his jeans unzipped, and abs shaded to stand out against the dark and grainy background. Lifting his eyes from the book, Lucas looks up right in my direction. He can sense me, and it’s creepy. “What the hell?” I whisper. We’re yards away, but I know he can hear my voice.
