The Approval System

She never answered that phone call from me. That day, in the Family Expense Portal application, I wrote: "Math competition registration deadline is today. Registration fee is $500. Attached are screenshots of the registration notice and payment page." Calvin replied: "Rejected. Please explain the necessity of participating in this competition and the expected benefits." I resubmitted. "Winning or placing in this competition can help me qualify for independent university admissions. It will help with college placement." He rejected it again: "The expected benefits are not clear enough. Please quantify."

Answered a lot of questions I didn't even know I had, and the main one I tracked this down for. Just wish that when I submitted a book for the first time that this was a suggested read, as it would streamline a lot. Glad this exists, just wish I knew sooner.

The Luna and her Quadruplet Pups

The Luna and her Quadruplet Pups

“I’m surprised the bank didn’t list a payee.” I’ve already moved on to the next letter, out of habit more than anything else. However the second letter is as shocking as the first. It’s a notification claiming I’ve won a contest I’m certain I never entered. You won! The bold text reads, Congratulations, your vouchers for a year of free spa visits are inside. “What on earth is happening?” I mutter in astonishment. I mean, I suppose this is something that I might have randomly entered a lottery for and forgotten about, or perhaps a raggle from some corporate event, but I certainly didn’t put any effort into entering a contest like this.

Stuck between the billionaires

Stuck between the billionaires

She proceeded to straighten her already perfect tailored black gown for the umpteenth time as she shot herself a final look. Phoebe had just gotten a job offer from an online site that she’d signed up for. It was a writing contest that was currently ongoing in the state and even though she wasn't a writer, she had felt bored and so had decided to sign up as she'd read quite a lot of novels and had even if it was just the slightest idea of what writing entailed. She'd proceeded to write a short story which she submitted, but to her utmost surprise, she won the contest and was selected amongst two others to become a writer for the organization. They were asked to come to a venue where they wou

Immediately she ends her words, her hand is up, and they transfer the mic to her. "I am joining the contest." She said with all authority, Jane got mad. "That is not possible," Jane yelled. "Really? Miss Jane, you are not the presenter, so back off." "You will not tell me to because the contest is almost over, you can't possibly join." "Says who?" Cathy's voice came up, and Craig and Gregory looked at each other. "I said..." "Shh! According to clause seven of this contest, a new contestant is free to join if the contestants are four and she has answered more than five questions, she is free to join."

My Stepbrother’s Secret Obsessions:A Taboo Desire Collection

My Stepbrother’s Secret Obsessions:A Taboo Desire Collection

I ask, starring into her dark brown eyes. "Well, the fiction competition has a specific topic." She says, getting up and walking over to a filing cabinet. Miss Edwards is about 5' 5" tall and very well proportioned, with a thin waist, flat stomach and a tight, curvy ass. Her ass gets as much attention as her tits when the guys are discussing what they'd like to do with her. "The subject this year is ethics and morals. You'd have to write a short story with a main character who is struggling with a moral dilemma." She says, handing me the entry form and rules. I guess I know the subject pretty well, but I'm not sure I could submit a story about my current moral dilemmas. "Would you be able to

"Of course, I am. By the way Someone from Vicenzo Company called me because they can't seem to contact you." " I changed my phone and forgot to update them so what did they call for?" "Well, they were asking me when will you submit entry for the upcoming Novel Contest." "I haven't really thought about it, I still have 3 months before the contest. I'll tell them myself." "They also told me you can pre read some entries from the website, some already posted their novel entry. I think it will be better, you might come up with better plot if you'll learn from them"

she said. "A writing contest? No, I didn't see it, but I love contests. I enter them all the time. I never win, but you have to keep trying, right? I read that a lot of famous writers have their books rejected twenty or thirty times before they're finally published. And you definitely can't win if you don't enter." Lucy shrugged and opened her math book. "It was nice of you to tell me, Jane. I'll go and check it out."

Always is not Forever

Always is not Forever

"Fever. Uff. I can't even kiss you." "I write for myself." He nodded, smiling. "I write to vent my feelings. It's not a competition." Maybe that's why I loved it. There was no competition in writing because art couldn't be evaluated. Each art was unique in its own way. If one rejected, it didn't mean it was disgusting or bad. It was just not for their taste. "Thank you."
