“Will this work?” “You brought that with you?” Felix said with delighted surprise. Pete’s faded eyes twinkled with amusement over his surprise. “I never leave an a****n infirmary without it. You never know when you need to release a virus or two.” Kendra gave a hint of a smile and nodded. “Wise man.” Looking off into the distance, she said, “We need to get past those zombies, or whatever you want to call them.” “It concerns you that they can think,” Pete mused. “Didn’t you say that there were intelligent ones on the surface?”

A soft smile lay on my lips as I looked at her. "So, you're Sierra's self-proclaimed lover?" the zombie said blankly as he looked at the pages of his book. He was reading a psychology book. I noticed that he had a lot of those on a shelf on the left wall. "Self-proclaimed?" I said lifting an eyebrow. He never answered after that and I got a bit agitated. I knew he was not trying to mock me because he still had not emitted an emotional scent. What the heck is this zombie thinking?

Sarah muttered, rolling his eyes. Favour adjusted his glasses. “I’m going to sleep for a week. Maybe two and never read any book that has to do with zombies again.” “Boring,” Justin said with a grin. “Me? I’m hitting up the biggest buffet in town. And I’m not leaving until they roll me out.” “You’d be doing that even if there wasn’t a zombie apocalypse,” Collins quipped, earning a round of laughter. Jeff smiled faintly. “I just want to see my family again.”

That night, Zach guarded Zelle right next to her room, and in his dream for that night was the memory he will never forget. It was a year after Zelle had just lost her memories. Zach and Aaron just moved into the mansion to play with her. Zach saw the quiet little girl reading a black book under the huge tree. "Zelle, what are you reading?" Zelle did not respond and continued to read the ‘fairytale’ book while ignoring him. Zach sat next to her and tilted his shoulder over to hers to take a look at what she was reading about. That surprised him instead!

The two remaining guards laid down suppressing fire. I was right behind them. Not to save them. The monsters were after me, too. The snowmobile's engine sputtered in the biting cold. Ethan's hands were shaking. "Hurry! Hurry!" Chloe screamed. A zombie leaped onto the back. I blew its head off with the shotgun. Black blood splattered across Chloe's face. Her scream was louder than the engine. We tore down the mountain path. The snarls behind us grew fainter. But a greater hell was waiting for us.

☆☆☆ Inside It was foggy within but they could still see what lies buried within the cemetery, they walked stealthily like ghosts trying effectively not to attract unwanted attentions. The Zompires are dead creatures considered to be undead, their existence is a curse and an abomination of the hidden world itself. They are ludicrous and predictable unlike other creatures on the planet, they're visibly blind but attracted to noises and lights. They could transform others at will with just a bite but that differs between species. It hasn't been really tested on a dhampir but Rapidfire was not ready to try that out yet.

Fred's severed head fell to the ground with a thud. (Author's Note: The term "I give you mercy" was from Z Nation. A TV show in America is mainly about zombies, and the show comes right after another TV show called Black Summer.) I screamed at what I saw because we are not used to seeing such a scene every day, right? Coco gagged and we hurried to leave when Uncle Jim told us to leave and that he would be the one to bury Fred. Cole was driving and Chito was next to him. Coco and I are behind them.

Nothing was safe from the masses of zombie killers and, just six months after the appearance of the first zombie, there was very little life left on the planet. I took another sip from the bottle of pear water and head over to the front door again. With the bat in my hands, I felt instantly safer. Being weaponless was the fastest way to get yourself killed, aside from just being plain stupid. Thankfully I wasn't stupid, and I certainly wasn't planning to die anytime soon.

“Why the hell not?” What the fuck have I got to lose? The man already took everything from me; all I have left is my life. Besides, it’s not much of life, and if he kills me, then he’ll put me out of my misery. “Meet me out front in twenty minutes.” After a shower and changing into jeans and a green woollen jumper, I meet the girls out front. Harper drives us to Meadow Wood, which is a huge clothing store in Zidiah. We don’t have to worry too much about humans; we rarely see any in Zidiah. Those we do see are mated to shifters.

The bebeast'sead rolled into the ditch, but the body remained on its feet. With nothing else to go on, Warren went through everything he knew about the undead. The usual zombie nonsense Hadid does not affect his mind drifted to fire, many of the undead could be brought down by a roaring blaze, or at least according to all of his movie and video game knowledge. He looked on either side of the road, A oilfield truck with a large gas container in the box lay just beyond the body.
