Chapter 42

Today I had a physiotherapy session with Dom, we were going to a pool today. I was in the car with pool clothes on under my huge crochet sweater that went all the way to my knees. I started looking forward to these sessions because they made me feel accomplished each time I took a step toward having my feet back in my control.

I looked at the skin on my thigh and noticed the huge pink patch that was once there had faded off more. It was almost all back to normal. I passed my hand over it and let out a breath. “Are you okay?” Aaron asked as he kept his attention on the road still.
