The nine girls run at her again and she shakes her head at them, before again running at them and performing a perfect slide, knocking three girls' feet out from under them like bowling pins. Before the girls have time to get their barrings, she grabs one of the girls by the leg and swings her like a discus, before letting go. The girl flies across the field, landing in a heap. Paige again takes a fighting stance, and I see one of the trainers pass something to one of the attacking girls. She whispers to the girl next to her, who grins and nods. Paige narrows her eyes at the girl who is obviously the ring leader. I see her eyes flick around the group, hatching a plan in her head.

They could see who was winning and unfortunately, it wasn’t me. I drove one foot deeper into the sand, then the other. And finally, movement stopped. Paige blinked. Then pushed harder. Nothing happened. Confusion flickered across her face and I almost rejoiced… but then she bit me. Pain exploded through my shoulder as her teeth buried themselves near my neck. I hissed and instinctively tried to wrench away, but Paige jerked her head violently and the world disappeared. I was airborne. Again. Apparently flying had become one of my Arena talents.

Belinda warned, swiftly blinked at her daughter, and then stood up from the chair. She grinned evilly, sipped on the unfinished wine, and climbed the stars back to her seat. Tomorrow would not only be a good show but also, one to remember. A show that would recognize Alyssa as the first miss and not that scummy ignorant, and arrogant fool called Paige. She smiled. The night gradually departed as the sun shone brightly through the lengthy and wide window opposite her bedside. Paige yawned and yanked the fluffy bedsheets from the bed with her leg.

But the second I heard her, it was like my legs had a mind of their own, and I found myself walking toward her. "Come in, guys. I'm not training a bunch of babies. You guys want to be the best, then you need to move faster." She ordered. The sound of grunting followed. I peeked around the corner, finding a room full of pups working up a sweat as they worked on their hand-to-hand combat. The group of kids didn't even bat an eye at Paige as she stood at the front of the room in a pair of tight leggings and a black sports bra, her hair braided back from her face. I let my eyes linger as I dragged them over every dip and curve of her body.

“Act cool, boys. Here comes our goddess.” We hear footsteps, soft and slow, then Paige appears at the top of the stairs, wrapped in one of Remy’s shirts that falls to mid-thigh and nothing else. She looks like dawn personified. Her hair is mussed, and her skin is glowing with that faint shimmer. A soft warmth radiates from her, calling to me, and I have to fight the urge to run to her. Remy trails behind her. He’s shirtless and marked, looking like he barely survived a holy experience and would willingly die for another round.

She had been expecting either Grandma or even the make-up artist who left earlier to check if Rain had arrived as per her request but it wasn't any of those two, it was Cedric looking he just walked out of a mafia runway magazine. Paige felt her breath hitch in her throat as she allowed her gaze to fall on him, checking him out of hair to toe. Why the fuck did the stylist think it was okay to flaunt his thighs like that, she remembered vividly riding those thighs some weeks ago and… “Like what you see?” Paige immediately shook her head, “I mean, I'm just surprised to see you here, that's all,” She lied, clearing her throat to hide the pink tinting her cheeks.

Paige warned. “How can I stop, Paige my butt cheeks are out and they're freezing." I complained. " You're just exaggerating, when we get into the club, trust me, it would be warm, especially if you find a guy to grind those fat ass on." She said teasingly. I shook with laughter trying my best to keep my fingers away from the hem of the dark blue dress. After getting backlashed by Gabriel, the handsomest and richest man in the country, Paige decided that her comeback was to strip down and show off our well sculpted bodies.

Tamera said. "It's amazing she's not knocked up!" Brady said. "Brady!!" Tamera yelled. "What?! You know how boy crazy she is." Brady responded. "Yes, I'm well aware." Tamera noted. Paige comes out with a white off the shoulder dress with light purple flowers on it. It's knee-length and flowing loosely at the bottom. "Hope this works. It's the only other dress I brought with me." Paige said. "Much better." Tamera said.
