Freida Mcfadden Housemaid Series Mga Nobela at Kwento

The maid scurried away and I pulled out a plate from the stack in the corner; which I honestly thought was unnecessary, the maids knew that I ate alone so I wasn’t sure why they had a habit of staking plates in the corner like I was going to use them all. Then I began filling the plate with various things. Pancakes, eggs, bacon. “Yes Master? You sent for me?” “Where’s Freya?” “I haven’t seen her Master.” “And you’ve checked her room?” “No, not yet Master. I thought she might be allowed to be off duty till she recuperated from her punishment last night.” “And since when has that been a thing?” Zoe stayed quiet, twisting her fingers and avoiding eye contact. Zoe was one of my oldest handmaiden

There was absolutely no hope to be found in Lindy Campbell; I turned my attention away from her as quickly as I could. Magda, the housekeeper, had shed a few tears, but was proving to be a stalwart servant of the Wright home. Her emotions were locked down behind a cool acceptance of reality I wished I could claim for my own. She continued to tidy the house even though she was limping from the beating she'd received at the hands of the kidnappers.

She will come and go every day. I began a new routine for my house chores. Weekends are used to cook stews, soups. I put them in containers in the freezer. We can warm them to use during weekdays. The maid will help with the cleaning and doing my washings during weekends. I maintain the house during the weekdays on my own. Eventually one of the church members volunteered to come during weekends, a woman in her 60s, who happened to be a widow.

Head Maid) Don't be silly child, I watched from the very first day you stepped into this house. You my child are a very hard worker, you help others, trust me was I impressed. You Lillian deserve to rest, you have overworked yourself. So, please go to bed early, Roslyn will take care of the dinner.

Either Fred doesn’t have a significant other in his life, or he’s never brought her here, because no woman would put up with this. “I guess I’m your cook and your maid,” I say to myself as I find a broom and dustpan in the closet and get to work. I leave the doors and windows open and cover my face with one of Fred’s T-shirts I find in his bedroom. It takes me just over an hour, but once I’m finished, the place looks almost good as new. Almost.

I should eat first and think about what to do later. With that thought, I turned back to the bed. Within minutes, the housemaid returned. Looking at her now, I realized I didn’t know her. Freddie must have hired her after I left. She carefully placed the food on the bed. “Ma’am, do you need anything else?” I shook my head and started eating. When I was nearly finished, I glanced up and noticed the housemaid still standing by the door. I frowned. “Is something wrong?” “No, ma’am.” She quickly shook her head.

exclaimed another. "And her kids are so clever too, to have helped her," said a third. The room was filled with praise for my family, but I could only feel numb. This wasn't about praise or admiration, it was about the truth, and making things right. With a steely look in his eyes, Aiden turned to the maid and said, "You're fired. Get out of my house, right now." The maid's eyes widened in terror, and she began to plead with Aiden as she went on her knees in front of him. She grabbed his shorts and looked up into his eyes.

One of the maids from the main house overheard her and suddenly stepped forward, slapping the nurse hard across the face. “Who do you think you are, talking like that?” the maid snarled. “We only listen to Madam. That homewrecker in the wheelchair doesn’t deserve anything! She’s just a cheap slut trying to steal Mr. Hale from Madam. She should be grateful we even let her stay here instead of throwing her back to the streets where she belongs!”

" She straightened her spine, arrogance burning in her eyes. My father still kept his voice steady, though surprise was obvious in his face. "Don't get too proud. That's only the first match. "You still have two more. Nothing is settled yet." Sophie lifted her chin with a winner's smile. "Just watch. I'll hit the next two too." Over the next two days, Marissa did exactly what she had done in my previous life. She pushed Sophie's image everywhere. In just forty-eight hours, the story that the Foster family had found a lucky charm spread through Harbor City's elite circles.

“What happened to House Crawford?” “I only know the Crawfords hate the Maddens,” the coachman answered as he eyed my nails nervously. “Elsa said House Madden committed an unforgivable crime against them.” “What about Alfie’s place?” I countered. “Do you know anything about that?” The coachman nodded this time. “Alfie was part of House Crawford, too. Some of the Madden pups they captured were sent to Alfie’s place.”
