Wolfe Ranch

Wolfe Ranch

They will find out when we get there, if not sooner. The conversation between them pretty much ended there, so I handed the phone back to Jasper. He put it back on the dash and kept driving. We stopped in Wagon Mound to refuel, throw trash away, potty, and get drinks and food for lunch. I grabbed a hamburger along with the guys and couldn’t wait to enjoy it. It smelled amazing and made my mouth water. I was a sucker for fresh food at a gas station. I know what you're thinking, that the food is greasy and would mess up my stomach. The gas station pizza is greasy, not the breakfast tacos or the hamburgers. I still try to make smart choices.

His Rejected Luna

His Rejected Luna

So I tried to shift a little just as the waiter approached. “Hello, welcome to our kitchen, what will you have?” He asked. “I’ll have fried green tomatoes.” I said looking through the menu he had handed over to us. “I’ll have chicken and dumplings.” Jennifer said as the waiter walked away, “its my favorite each time I’m in this part of the city.” She said and then turned to look at me.

SEDUCING MY BESTFRIEND'S BROTHER

SEDUCING MY BESTFRIEND'S BROTHER

He called at ten the next morning. I was at the West Village location going over the July menu with Maya — we had moved past the rhubarb vindication into new territory, a stone fruit situation that I was genuinely excited about and that Maya was approaching with the focused precision of someone who understood that stone fruit in July was either extraordinary or a disaster and there was no middle ground. His name on my screen. I excused myself and went to the back room. "Hey," I said.

I Saw You

I Saw You

That just added up to my restlessness. The car stopped in front of a small but cozy cafe. The exterior was painted in plain khaki. On the foot of the brick wall were concrete boxes filled with green plants. On the top was glow in the dark neon green letters which formed the name of the cafe- Coffee and Arts. It was simple on the outside but once you step in you would want to stay forever. “Now I know why it wasn’t familiar. It’s a cafe for average people.” Her words were perfectly crafted with consonants of humiliation and vowels of boast.

The Nerd Can Fight

The Nerd Can Fight

I took my keys from the bowl on the small countertop by the door and led the way out to my car. Adam called shotgun and Preston sat at the backseat, annoying the both of us with his imitation of Sam Smith. I didn’t trust Adam enough to let him sit behind me in case he tried to choke me while I was driving. I don’t think he’d care about dying as long as he was dragging me along with him and I don’t want to die yet, thank you very much. We finally stopped at this small cafe that sells bomb breakfast packages. I remembered my first time tasting their hash browns and had my taste buds explode in colors. I have been addicted ever since.

My Ex's Boss Taught My Bedside Pleasures

My Ex's Boss Taught My Bedside Pleasures

The heat of his body seeped through my silk blouse. He looked down at the stove. "Smells good. What is it?" "Tomato beef stew," I said. I took a step back. The proximity scrambled my thoughts. "I used my farm's tomatoes." Dominic picked up a clean spoon, dipped it into the red sauce and tasted it. His throat bobbed as he swallowed. He turned his head. His ice-blue eyes locked onto mine. "It is rich," he said. His voice dropped an octave. "But I bet the beef is not as juicy as you."

The Beta's Scarred Mate: A Loner to Luna Prequel

The Beta's Scarred Mate: A Loner to Luna Prequel

He smiled, “That sounds like a perfect plan.” When we got to the farmers market, I went from booth to booth smelling vegetables while Doug laughed at the noises I would make. I laughed, “Nothing smells better than homegrown fruits and vegetables.” The guy running the booth nodded in agreement as he held a cantaloupe to his nose, “Smell.” Doug smelled, “Yum! Why don’t they smell this good in the stores?” The guy answers, “The produce you see in the grocery store was picked weeks ago. That means it wasn’t completely ripe when it was picked and it had all that time to lose its fresh smell. This produce was just picked yesterday.” He smiled, “Well, I’m buying that one.” I laughed, “This is why I

Becoming the Female Alpha

Becoming the Female Alpha

’ I could almost hear him say those words, and I nodded my head because, for once, I truly believed it. But our focus was disrupted when we were passing through a night market, and I perceived the unmistakable scent of grilled meat, and my stomach began to rumble. The scent of grilled meat and tomatoes mixed with the warm night air was too intoxicating, and it was enough to make my mouth water as we neared the stall. “Stop!” I said, my nose flaring as we got closer to where the scent was closest. “We haven’t gotten to the pack yet.” Toby replied slowly, like he was trying to explain to a child, and I shook my head, pointing to the stall that was still far ahead.
