Coach Finn looked at both of them and sighed heavily.

"How about I get cleaned up, and you pull up the third Lord of the Rings movie where we left off?" Adam continued to hold my gaze, and after a moment of silence, he finally stepped back, the tension between us barely easing. "Yeah, yeah, I can get that pulled up," he replied, his voice steady as he dropped his hand. I moved towards his bedroom, each step echoing softly in the stillness of the house. "I know we'll never be friends. But I respect him now. He changed, Noah. He became the man you always believed he could be." I felt my eyes glisten. "He had a good reason to change." We stood there in silence, the weight of everything we had been through settling between us. The hatred was gone. The jealousy was gone. All that remained was a quiet understanding. Adrian held out his hand. "Truce?" I looked at it for a long moment, then took it. "Truce." We shook, the gesture simple and final. The rivalry was over. The past was behind us.

“So what do you think?” I opened my eyes. The city was gone, but that hushed voice remained in the back of my mind, lurking from the shadows. Bobby nodded. “It’s got a weird timing to it, but that’s not a bad thing.” “I think the bass will drive the song,” Hank said. “What about you, Aidan?” “I dig it,” I said. “What’re you calling it?” Johnny smiled. “This one’s called ‘The Final Reconciliation.’ I think the whole album will be called that.”

He doesn't say anything, just leaves the room. — Has he come to make amends for his sister? — Raphael asks.

“Don’t disappoint me, Rowan.” “I won’t,” I said over my shoulder. “But you might disappoint yourself.” As I walked toward the hostel, one thing became clear. The rivalry had begun and neither of us intended to lose.

I let out an exasperated sigh and faced the board again, tucking one of my braids behind my ear. “Whatever you’re trying to do with Noah, I’ll advise you to just stop now,” she muttered and a line appeared between my brows as I moved my head to the side a bit. “You know how close he is with Tyler and Shane and he has already started arguing with them because of you. Things won’t go well for you if you succeed in ruining their friendship.” Her words made me clench my fists and grit my teeth in anger as I turned to face her. Things won’t go well for me? What the hell?!
