Sky replies, smirking. “Yeah, even I heard about that. Selena told me Stella was pissed because you called Zoe a troublemaker,” I add with a smug smile. For the first time, I’m having a long conversation with both of these guys and actually enjoying it. I’ve never really had time to make friends. Except for Denver, I’ve had no one. And now, here I am—laughing with Alex and Sky, teasing each other about our girls. It feels like we’ve known each other forever… It feels good. Easy.

“I mean could whoever be after Colton Adams and you got involved?” “I don’t know” she answered, “Koty doesn’t seem like someone people would want to lock up for murder.” It was his turn to raise a questioning brow. “You never know. It could be a family feud… and why are you supporting this Colton Adams of a boy?” “He is my friend. We made up today, settled all our differences and forgave all the hurt. He agreed to just be friends.” She informed him. He scoffed, “Just friends? That is a trick he wants to use to win you over.”

But as fast as it came, it turned into a frown, "No. Tell me your problem, I'm going to be your future brother -not by blood- soon, Vanchel." With eyes widened, I blinked a lot of times before clearing my throat. "Okay." "Thank you." He nodded, "Go on." "Let's just say that I read a book where the main character loves her best friend. But her best friend loves another girl and asked help from his best friend and his best friend helped him and they got together and his best friend got sad and yet every time the best friend got a rocky relationship with the person he loves, he seeks help to his best friend and his best friend is always there for him and it's unfair." I rambled, trying to keep

Jamie’s smile grows wider and wider, “Really? That’s hell of a coincidence, because it would be him for me too! What a surprise!” I put up a bright smile for him, “See? Once you start to talk about yourself, you’ll find the people around you have a lot of things in common with you. And that’s how we make friends.” Brightly, Jamie chuckles, “You’re right.” So, if he thinks I am right on this, “Can I be your friend, Jamie?” Without a second of hesitating, Jamie nods, “Of course.” Oh splendid. We have an announcement. Ladies and gentlemen, now I present to you——Jamie Lee Peyton, the first friend Henry Nosrevi has made after Henrietta.

Clara nestled into his arms, pretending to be timid. "Dan, do you think this is—" Daniel cut her off, running his hand through her hair with a look full of affection. "After everything you've been through, this little lesson is nothing." Everyone around them fell silent, afraid to make a sound. I glared at Daniel, speaking each word like a blade. "Ten years of friendship… Does that mean nothing to you? Daniel, let go of me. I'm willing to forgive and forget. But if you don't, you'll regret it."

“Oh. Well, that doesn’t sound as awful as you think, considering what females have done to you in the past.” “I guess it doesn’t, but it seemed that way. Anyway, I’m really glad I reached out to you. You, and Norm have shown me what true friends, that aren’t family really are. You showed me that there are people in this world I can trust. I also have made some really great female friends because of you, and I met my mate. He maybe a pain in the ass at times, but he’s really good to me. Sucks at romance, but treats me well otherwise. I love him a lot, and I may not have met him if it weren’t for you.”

He really surprised me that Anderson boy. ‘Ok chomee, I am officially jealous. So how were his friends? Are they down to earth or are they snobs?’ ‘Yoh chomee, Fabians girlfriend is a loud mouth and there was this one called Carol, she just likes to booze. Then there was Ntombi, Ntombi was good to me but she kept calling me a farm girl.’ ‘Farm girl? How rude. Why didn’t you tell her where to get off?’ ‘She was the only one who was nice to me. Except for the farm-girl name of-course.’

They both had children to take care of, both dated possessive ex-biker bad boys, and they had similar personality traits. As Amy climbed into the SUV, heading for home, she contemplated her former friendships. When her family life exploded into a million pieces of drama, it had become extremely telling who her real friends were. Only a handful of her former friends stuck around to help her pick up the pieces. Two to be exact. Rhoda and Lindsay. Rhoda had moved away about a year ago to attend college, and though Lindsay was still around, they each had their own busy lives to attend to and couldn't see each other often. It felt good having another female friend that could relate to Amy's life,

He moved closer to her over the counter that only a mere bottle separated them. Eye to eye, Reid said, “Then let’s change that.” “Excuse me?” “Lets be friends.” Maria was trying hard not to stare into his eyes, but his words had her doing exactly that. They were not enemies. Frenemies were the better word to describe their rather complicated interactions, and it was nothing close to friendship. “We are friends?” She sputtered. He nodded. “Yet you don’t feel comfortable with me, so let’s actually become friends.”
