Your Guilt Won't Bring Me Back
My corpse was already corroded into a pile of blood and bones. What was left of me had already soaked through the earth, thus disappearing from the pit. Other than the rocks and the ropes that once bound me, my clothes, as well as an iron crest, were left on the ground.
The crest I wore was the family crest. The logo, signifying the five wolves of the Wilde family, was engraved on the crest.
When a pack member died, the other pack members would take turns wearing their crest. It was their way of remembering the dead forever.
