“Apparently.” Seraphina smiled. “That’s why I always found you familiar.” The Book’s Warning The black book suddenly closed. Then it opened again. This time, the pages were turning rapidly. Page 1. Page 2. Page 3. Thousands of pages. Millions. Then the book stopped. A single sentence appeared. “THE FIRST DAUGHTER HAS AWAKENED.” Another line appeared. “THE FIRST MOTHER HAS REMEMBERED.” Then: “THE FIRST FATHER IS RETURNING.”

She was nothing but a woman, yet. “The dark book is of Crescent Zenith origin, and you dared to think you were allowed to take it?” I asked her, but no response came. She was gripping the sand with so much hatred. I could see her expression more clearly now because it was already dawn, and the darkness had faded away.

They looked very old. I picked up the first book. The cover felt soft under my fingers. I opened it carefully. The writing was faded in places, but I could still read it. "My name is Althea of Whitemore," the book began. "This is my story." Althea. Who was Althea? Was this Noah's and Neal's grandmother? Why would her book be hidden here? Why would my locket open her secret room? I turned the pages slowly, my eyes growing wider with each sentence.

I pee a lot, and smelling and seeing things that are sensitive to my body makes me puke. "Liam, just leave the poor girl alone." Sydney stepped in and pressed those breasts of hers on Liam's arm. "Come on. The book is a room. So we are going to have loads of fun." Loads of fun, indeed. "Just give me a minute," Liam brushed Sydney off, making her pout. "Lily, are you okay?" I scoffed.

He was pale, staring at the book. I frowned. “What?” “Where did you find this book?” “On a shelf,” I said. “Why?” “You couldn’t have gotten that book from any shelf,” he said and approached me. “Tell me the truth.” “I checked it out from the library and everything.” “That book isn’t from the library,” he hissed. “You—” His phone rang, and he cursed. He lifted the book from my hand. “Come home on time. We’ll talk about it then.”

“Is my light bothering you?” Althea shook her head slowly. “No.” She answered politely. Her eyes remained fixed on the symbol. “What’s that book you’re reading?” The nurse blinked before glancing down at the page. “Oh. This?” She commented as she lifted the book slightly. “It’s from an old historical archive text. I went to the library a few days after the attack at Blackstone to find a book to make me forget that night. I asked some staff and one told me that there are interesting books at the historical section and borrowed this.”

I didn't want to watch that unravel in front my eyes. While I quickly scuttle to my room, I find Ethel in the hallway. "Thank heavens I have found you. I have been looking for you." Ethel mutters gaining my attention. "There is something I think that might help." she pulled me to Evanna's study which was just at the end of the hallway. "Here," Ethel pointed at the covered big book with a golden cover. "Do you think it can help me locate the stone?" I ask anxiously. "I think so. This book has been with Evanna for as long as I know and I think it can help." she pursues her lips.

At least there, I can have peace. When I arrived at the garden, I felt the peace hugging me. 'Finally.' Away from those stabbing gazes, away from that annoying expression of Rosine, away from that indifferent male lead. Amongst the books I brought with me, there's one with an inconspicuous book with a simple red cover. "From One Space to Another" is the title of the book. It is a romance story about a girl who can teleport from one place to another and a boy who was from another parallel universe.
