Wrong Ride, Right Lover

Wrong Ride, Right Lover

As she thought about how Henry threatened her last night, she was convinced that he might actually do something to her if she did not return the clothes today. Ring, ring, ring… The phone on the front desk rang. Monique paid attention to all calls at the front desk today. She wanted to see if there were any orders from Marriott International. “Monique, deliver the coffee. It’s for Marriott International,” Sacha shouted at Monique who was peeping from the back.

The book was good but I really would like if the writers could stick to the initial names given to the characters and be mindful of the his/hers/she/he/they/them and so on. Otherwise great story from start to finish.

This is one of the best book I have ever read and I highly recommend this to those who are finding good book and story. There are lots of errors though when it comes to names and other stuffs but over all the story is fascinating. Just hoping that the ending is not the common ones.

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

“Each one looks like they are fight scenes. With people and animals fighting… monsters. Good grief, how could I forget that? Those monsters. The little ones looked like smoke and tentacles. There were so many types of monsters and it got confusing seeing some attacking each other. We need to look at them in a fresh perspective.” “This all on this whiteboard you are talking about?” Larin clarified with Gemma and Becky, who bother nodded. “The next thing we have to discuss is where have we got the Fear Mongers cornered? I know we have some in the attic and basement of the main house and in the crypt there’s a room we’ve locked them in. Hugo, did you and Angelica find any?”

were visibly engraved above the double mirror door entrance. Standing on both sides of the doors were two massive, muscular men in black suits who checked every person entering. Security guards, I presumed—and serious ones, at that. I walked past them after getting myself checked with the security wand and walked toward the front desk. A woman sat at the desk, her blonde hair tied neatly in a severe bun, a light red lipstick applied to her thin lips. Her work attire was similar to the other employees—clean, sharp, and entirely intimidating. A shiny silver name tag pinned above her left breast read: Zoey Monroe. She was busy typing away on the computer, oblivious to my arrival.

Blue immediately nods his head. “Okay so here is the plan. I am sending ten monsters to attack the Ma Vista’s tomorrow and I need you too...” The next morning is Mayhem all the monsters gather in the backyard as they prepare to hear all the monsters that will be going to the Ma Vista’s today. There is an excited buzz that floats around the yard as they all stand there waiting for me to finally address them. Finally I stand, all the monsters stop whispering to one another and the backyard falls silent.

Fruto and Ponjie didn’t notice him since he was covered by the four big monitors in the room. “Hello. My name is Francis. And this is my office. I was tasked to analyze the monster brought in here a week ago. I’m so glad you guys did not kill it.” Francis was solemn as he spoke. He met the stares of the boys as if his eyeglasses was not a hindrance for establishing contact. He then turned away and focused on the monster–who had now shrank and revealed a disgusting form.

They were almost human if it weren't for the freakish heads and oozing arms. Each one had no visible eyes in their dished-in heads. One of the monsters flanked the figure in the green hoodie, who reached up to run its hand along its jaw bone. I saw the figure also had dripping hands, and eyes covered in a thick layer of bandaging that he turned back to the papers. Beside the breathing from the monsters and Cosmo’s hushed chatter with his friend, the Base was deathly quiet. Why was he even out here so late at night?

Married to a monster

Married to a monster

Her body sore. It wasn’t a nightmare. She was still here. Still trapped. A knock at the door pulled her from her thoughts. “Come in,” she called, her voice hoarse. A young maid stepped in, eyes cautious. “Good morning, madam. The boss requests you join him for breakfast.” Kristen sat up, glaring. “Tell him I’m not interested.” The maid hesitated. “But madam... he may get angry.” Kristen’s voice rose. “I don’t care! Just go!”

And then I would cut the strings. I wiped a nonexistent smudge from my lip and practiced neutral. Calm. Invisible. Invisible people go everywhere. Invisible people hear everything. I picked up my phone and typed a message I wouldn’t need to send yet: Make sure Dr. Morgan keeps his stories tidy. And make sure he feels watched. Then I locked the screen and pasted on the soft smile that had gotten me access to more rooms than honesty ever would. Guests learn the floor plan. Owners learn the flaws.
