Milo found himself in the frozen forest before Althea and the wolf once again, but for once, this visit was entirely intentional. The wolf raised his head first and Milo nodded in respect to the beast, but when Milo’s eyes shifted to Althea her body remained motionless. She was still kneeling and her body was upright, but her eyes were shut and frost had gathered heavily across her lashes. His stomach lurched as he thought about poor old Bernie and how Milo had not even noticed because he had left his body in such a life-like position, not unlike Althea’s was now.

All of their faces were carved into identical expressions of cold indifference. In comparison, alarm and surprise coated the faces of the nobles watching from their place cowering at the corner of the room. A few braver souls had stepped forward to get a better look at the proceedings but most stayed back. Whatever this was, it was not something they expected. “NO!” Hanzen screamed as Ryedir raised his sword and Jaid pushed him forward so that his body lay on the floor, neck exposed. The bulky alpha had to hold Hanzen still as he thrashed around, desperately trying to escape.

Florian replied. She smiled, happy to share their success. She raised her arm to clasp his when a searing pain shot through her hand. She cried out and both men moved in. Florian reached her first, taking her hand to inspect it. "You sprained your wrist. It needs ice." "Allow me," Eden said, pulling rain from the sky. Ice crystals formed, joining together into a malleable sheet of ice. He wrapped it around her hand, bringing instant relief. Their eyes met for a split second.

It wasn't just Jay's long lashes that had Karen hooked. She had never seen such perfectly carved brows. Tempted to feel them, she extended a hand towards his lashes but stopped dead in track when Jay's eyes fluttered open and locked with hers. Frozen, her breath hitched. As she jolted back, her elbow lost balance and she crashed onto his body. She groaned and immediately attempted getting up again but his arms held her in place. “Can you stay like this for a moment…please…” he breathed.

“What about you, Elsa?” “I will not surrender to the Elrod family,” Elsa snarled, taking a fighting stance. “I’d rather die than be caught by your King.” She then glared at Evelyn and growled. “Go.” “I-” Evelyn started, but before she could finish, a voice from above interrupted. “Very touching.”

Elsa looked up, eyes wide in terror. “Finally, she looks up!” The green-haired girl said, and they all giggled. “No! You can’t do that. Father will disown me! Please… please don’t!” Elsa’s voice cracked, her eyes shimmering with tears. The purple-haired girl hesitated, clearly moved.

The shadows steadied slightly. Then I saw Elsa. A collapsing support beam crashed toward a group of fleeing first-years near the shattered stairwell. She didn’t even hesitate. For the first time since I’d met her—Elsa used her affinity openly. The air around her distorted sharply before translucent blue energy burst outward from her hands in a curved wave, freezing the falling debris mid-collapse long enough for the students to escape underneath. Ice. The realization flashed through me instantly. Not weak ice magic. Dense. Controlled. Precise. The beam shattered against the frozen barrier seconds later. Elsa staggered but stayed standing. “Move!” she shouted at the younger students.

Jasper ended up laughing, she looked funny acting mute. "Okay, that doesn't suit you. I think I prefer the Raina who talks to this mute one darling." He said. "I just wanted to make you smile and I did. I am officially proud of myself." Raina said proudly. Elsa came back after she changed her clothes. She wore something more seductive, this made Jasper almost choke on his food. He became nervous, not because of Elsa but because of Raina. Her fists are clenched and Elsa doesn't notice the handwriting on the wall.

He then bent his arms to show off his muscles. Instead of being mesmerized, Elissa knitted her eyebrows. Her mouth opened. Her eyes stared in disgust at Edgar for behaving this way. But Edgar didn't think anything of it. He just laughed and went in. Meanwhile, Elissa was still looking at the house in front of her. She was reminded of Elsa's house that she built herself on a snow mountain. If Elsa's house was a palace, Edgar's house was a hut. Simple. But Elissa admitted the house Edgar built was quite beautiful.

Can't always be in my wolf form to train with my powers. Ooh let's go to the store before heading back to the pack house. I have a craving for some pistachio ice cream. What do you say to that Elsa? I say let's have some ice cream she says, as the store was only five minutes from the pack hospital. After getting my ice cream I head back towards the house. Then hopefully I can sneak in a little training session without telling anyone where I was.
