They were wrong. Fire did not need to be large to burn; it only needed a spark and the right conditions. Aria was the spark, and the facility was about to become the fuel.

The thought made his stomach churn. “That evil b*tch!” Ceynol roared, his voice cracking with frustration. His hands clenched into fists, nails digging into his palms. “She doesn’t even realize the extent of her foolishness!” Flames clawed hungrily at the sky, thick black smoke billowing upward. The firefighters they had called were doing their best, but it wasn’t enough. How could it be? This wasn’t just an ordinary fire—it was fueled by volatile chemicals, making it nearly impossible to control.

Wolves howled as frost sealed their paws to the stone, while the fire seared the air around them. A witch hurled witchfire straight at Selene—but the spell bent sideways as though refusing her. It shattered against the wall, scattering sparks.
