Novel & Cerita Fumbling The Bag Meaning

To pass the time, I start browsing online shopping sites, mindlessly scrolling through clothing prices. I'm so engrossed that I don't even notice someone sneaking up on me, snatching my bag. Luckily, I quickly react, pulling my bag back, but I lose my balance and tumble onto the asphalt. "Help! Help!" I screamed. "Let go of my bag! Help!" Disaster strikes.

In my attempt to catch it, my hand accidentally knocked the bag higher with my so called reflexes. To my horror the bag was now headed straight for Jason. "Move" I shouted, but Jason turned around, confused. And the next thing I knew, the flour was pouring over Jason, completely covering him from head to toe. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry" I said as I rushed towards him, frantically attempting to brush off the flour. Jason stood there, a picture of shock and confusion, as if unable to comprehend how he had ended up covered in flour in the blink of an eye. Meanwhile, I was clumsily dusting the flour off his body, but my efforts seemed useless.

I opened my bag eagerly, ready to pull it out. But my heart stopped.I rummaged through it. The letter wasn’t there. My hands trembled as I rummaged through my bag again, flipping through every paper, every pocket. “It’s gone?” I whispered, my face draining of color.

" I looked backward and one thing hit in my mind was my bag is missing. Ohh NO THAT RED LETTER? I FORGET IT IN MY BAG WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? OHH NO I LEFT BAG IN THE CAR. I looked towards archard with awkward smile. He was looking forward to me and said; " What happened?" "I HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG?" " WHAT ? DON'T TELL ME ANYTHING STRANGE PLEASE!" " NO ! there is nothing wrong like that but I just forget my bag in the Cleo car?" " So what? what was in the bag!" I was thinking that I should have to hide it otherwise there will be some kind of mess. I don't trust him right now so how will I tell him? I can't trust him, Aisling be quiet till you find out that what is inside the letter.

Daniel slipped his bag opened and started searching for the thumb drive Seconds later, he came back up with a blank look on his face. "It seems I had forgotten to put the thumb drive inside my bag." Noami glared at him, not believing what she just heard him say. "What...?" “Let me look again before jumping to conclusion." He shoved his hand inside his bag again, shifting and turning to see if he could find it. Naomi pinched the bridge of her nose, frustration slowly captivating her emotions. He then pinched my cheeks and cooed. My cheeks reddened and I frowned, slapping his hands away as he chuckled. "Fuck off!" I scooted away from him. "Did you get the stuff?" "Yea, yea, it's in the bag." I looked at him, then to his left side and the right one, but saw no bag. "Where's the bag?" I deadpanned. "What do you mean, where's the bag? It's right here, dumb dumb." He looked to the left, then his right. He then stood and looked behind him. "Shit," he muttered, then gave a sheepish smile to me. "Seems I might have lost the bag..." "Oh, fuck me!"

I say looking back at Brandon, who was insanely out of breath. "I...forgot the bag" he says looking at me with an awkward look, of course he forgot the bag, why didn't I just grab it myself?! "Than why are you still standing there, could you go and get the bag please?" I ask taking a deep breath in so I wouldn't throw something at him, he immediately nods his head and jumps back over the fallen tree.

As we hurried out, the bag slipped down my arm, my hands slick with nervous sweat. I caught it just in time, readjusting the strap and holding onto it, refusing to let anyone see me fumble as if nothing had just started a war behind us.

I muttered under my breath, tossing the bag carelessly onto the floor. A second later, my stomach let out a loud, betraying growl, shattering every ounce of pride I had left. I stared down at myself in disbelief. "Seriously?" My stomach answered with another shameless growl. "Traitor," I muttered, crossing my arms and glaring at the bag on the floor. For nearly a full minute, neither of us moved. Then my stomach growled again, even louder, and I let out a defeated groan. "Fine."

It's victory, pure and intoxicating. They scramble to find footing, their flurry of motion a testament to how unprepared they are for this turn. Papers are shuffled and clutched, like talismans that might save them from the worst of it. Words tumble out in stammered bursts, lacking coherence, each argument drowned before it reaches air. They're trying to regroup, to stitch together the tatters of a plan, but it's an act of desperation, the last throes of an opponent who's already lost.
