(Lea's P.O.V.) My thoughts vanished like smoke when my phone suddenly rang. I grabbed it from my pocket to check who the caller was. There was no name. Only number. I tapped the green button, and put the phone close to my ears. "Hello?" At first, there was only static noises on the other line. But three seconds later, I heard someone breathing. Is this a prank call? "Hello? If you're bored, then be bored alone. Don't mess up with other people's lives. Just because you're having fun doesn't mean other people are having fun, too. It's not funny."

My team was the only one in the company that hit its performance targets this year. At the year-end party, the boss waited until everyone else had left, then he pulled out a big red box and had the four of us in my team draw blind boxes. I drew a desktop tower caked in dust, an antique that looked like it belonged in a museum. Haley Lambert, my teammate, drew a monitor covered edge to edge in scratches. Drew Sandler got a keyboard with every letter worn clean off the keys. Gabe Carell ended up with a grease-slicked wired mouse. Our boss, Cyrus Griffin, clapped me on the shoulder, grinning drunkenly. The group frequently got together for a little card game during their day off. One day, Jean got a call while playing cards. Overjoyed, she took the call right away. A man’s growl came down like a cannonball. “Are you Tanner’s mother? Your son owes me 6 million dollars. Gil's voice said instantly, " Why the hell aren't you here yet?" Sofia looked confused. She moved the telephone to her other ear and replied, " Um... Sydney asked who it was, " It's one of those prank callers Mrs.-" " Who the hell are you calling a prank caller?" Gil sounded urgent and angry. Sofia resisted the urge to end the call, but her work ethic taught her to give the callers a chance to express themselves no matter how insensitive they may come across.

I still can't believe--- I'm seriously getting cornier---you know more corny, like---tss whatever you guys don't get my joke anyway. Suddenly the music "Don't Cha" by Pussycat Dolls bombarded in the air as my phone vibrates in my pocket. I flinched as I heard it. What if I was on a public place?! What the fudge. The horror. I groaned as I realized that I had been victimized again by the great prankster---my girlfriend---Daniella Sparks. I can already imagine her evil laugh and how her eyes would blaze with a michievous hint in it. I just quickly answered it so it'll stop ringing.

As a receptionist, she knew very clearly what calls need to be forwarded, whatnot. But this time, she too was confused whether it was real or fake, she even tried to talk to the lady but the woman herself had hung up. What could she do now?
