Mated to the Night Wolf
He sideglances my way at this remark, but his shoulders relax and my smile only grows.
"You really can not stop worrying, can you?" I joke, poking his shoulder cheekily, "about your little friend."
He rolls his eyes momentarily huffing, but I can see straight through him.
How his eyes soften, how's walls crumble, even as he grumbles beneath his breath, "You are little."
I gasp at this, flabbergasted, "I am short— not little." I correct.
He glances at me, and I note how his eyes shine in hidden humour, as they watch me, but then his eyebrows suddenly draw in, eyes flashing forward momentarily.
