I lapse into unconsciousness for a few days after a high fever. When I wake up, I see my boyfriend and his best friend standing by my bed. I want to enliven the atmosphere, so I joke, "Who are you?" Eric Cobb, my boyfriend, is taken aback. I almost laugh at the look on his face. Then, he points at his friend, Jonah Mullen. "Don't you remember? Your boyfriend's been panicking over you. As his best friend, I have to be here with him." This time, I'm the one who's taken aback. Unexpectedly, Jonah steps forward and says, "That's right. I'm your boyfriend, Jonah Mullen."

My roommate had a strange obsession with taking cold showers on the balcony. She claimed it helped detox her body and brightened her skin. I warned her, “You should be more mindful of your privacy.” However, she only laughed, accusing me of being jealous of her flawless figure. Then, disaster struck. When I opened my eyes again, I was back in that room thick with the stench of leaking gas.

Why hadn’t I listened to the system and killed him when I had the chance? But when I opened my eyes again, everything was different. I stood watching Benedict flee our engagement ceremony. My brother moved to chase after him, but I quietly raised a hand, stopping him. This time, things would be different.

After Chester Caldwell loses his vision, I donate my corneas to him without hesitation. Later, I hear that Chester goes mad when he can no longer find his bride.

There's a lot of options to do, but she chose to take off the heave on her chest which was to go and look for the reasons why that accident happened and become his bodyguard, nurse and driver. When I have a pen in my hand and paper before me, I think I want to write something to cast every despair in my pathetic life away. I have a figure of a depressed guy whose fate is too much: saving the world. He is not stupid nor even smart, he is not ugly nor even good looking. He is just a nijikon (A person who loves an anime character more than the real one) like me. He once thought to give up on life, but an event changes his life. I'm sure you guys start guessing how the story goes, but too bad, this one is different than the others.

This book contains a few people's points of view. (POV) Which makes the book a little... let's say more dimensional. The main story is about Lilith Taylor being in the wrong place at the wrong time, although it was planned out. She witnesses some gruesome scenes done by Arthur Mikhailov but soon realizes that the one bringing this upon her is the only one who can take it away. The book is filled with mysterious characters and events to keep the reader guessing throughout. Never a too dull moment. Give it a try guys. You never know who will betray you next...
