Mempelajari berbagai macam budaya Jepang dan keunikan-keunikan lainnya, membuat Nindy selalu tak lupa membawa kamera dan dipost melalui jejaring sosial facebooknya. Agar ibu Nindy juga bisa memantau aktivitas anaknya tersebut. Hingga pada suatu hari, ketika bulan demi bulan berlalu. Ia berkenalan dengan seorang laki-laki yang kuliah di Universitas Seika. Tetapi berbeda jurusan, ia mengambil jurusan ilustrator komik. Namanya Takuya. Seorang pemuda berumur 23 tahun dan bekerja di toko boneka. Dari perkenalan itu, berbincang-bincang mengenai dunia komik yang ternyata adalah kesukaan Nindy juga. Di sana mereka bertemu, di sana pula mereka harus berpisah. Ketika waktu memisahkan jarak mereka, dan keharusan Nindy yang wajib pulang ke Indonesia oleh sebab hanya mendapatkan jatah 1 tahun. Pada saat terakhir mereka bertemu, Nindy berkata bahwa ia mencintai Takuya. Begitupun ternyata Takuya juga mencintai Nindy dan memberikan kecupan terakhir di pipi Nindy. Sebelum Nindy kembali ke Indonesia, Takuya mengajak gadis itu berkeliling Kyoto dan mengabadikan momen-momen mereka. Takuya berjanji pada Nindy setelah kuliahnya rampung, ia akan menyusul Nindy ke Indonesia, dan tinggal di kota Bali. Menjadi guru ilustrator komik disana.
