IRRESISTIBLE BOSS: SUCCUMBING TO HIS TOUCH

IRRESISTIBLE BOSS: SUCCUMBING TO HIS TOUCH

I walked over and she looked at me and suddenly took them off. "Don't take them off." I took the glasses and put them back on her eyes. "This is the first time I've seen you with them." "I lost my contact lens. Tomorrow I'll have a new one made, until it's ready you'll see me with glasses. At least my prescription isn't that strong, so I don't need them all the time." Manu looked discouraged. "And why that discouraged look?" "Because I don't like the glasses." I laughed at her angry expression.

Immortal Billionaire Brothers: Book 1 - Mark

Immortal Billionaire Brothers: Book 1 - Mark

Kids don’t always understand why their parents have so little patience. I take my glasses off my eyes and clean the lenses with a special wipe. It is not that I cannot see without them, I just cannot see very far without them. I place them back on my eyes and as the view comes into focus, I can see one of the men at the table staring intently at me.

Seven Magics Academy

Seven Magics Academy

"We all need connections. Without them we aren't really living." She shrugged. "I guess. All I know is that the whole time I've lived here, I've felt like a misfit." "Well, perhaps we can assist you in your endeavors as well as Jasmine and Laeddin." He pulled a book from his satchel and took his reading glasses from his pocket, putting them on. "Do you even need those things?" I touched the frames and moved closer so that I could see the pages too. He gave me a one-armed hug. "It's just these eyes. I need the glasses for the close up stuff."

My Brother My Mate

My Brother My Mate

“If you don’t mind.” I hesitated for a moment, but then nodded and leaned forward, allowing Adrian to slip my glasses off. The room instantly turned blurry around me, Adrian’s form turning into a nearly shapeless blob that almost seemed to fade into the background. But I could hear his laugh. “You look cute without your glasses,” he said. I swallowed and managed a laugh of my own. “Thanks. I do need them to see, though,” I said, reaching for them. “If you don’t mind…”

A Werewolf's Growth and Redemption

A Werewolf's Growth and Redemption

And as he emerged from the bathroom, a trendy embodiment of youthful sophistication, I couldn't help but feel a swell of pride at the sight of my handiwork. But there was one crucial detail left to attend to—the black-framed glasses that had become his trademark. With a knowing smile, I gently removed them, revealing the true depth of his eyes for the world to see. I had noticed his short-sightedness matched mine, so I had equipped him with contact lenses, allowing his gaze to shine unobstructed by the familiar frames. The effect was transformative, his eyes suddenly larger, more expressive, radiating a newfound confidence that was impossible to ignore.

Always Finding Mr Wrong

Always Finding Mr Wrong

“Comfort doesn’t have anything to do with it. If it makes you feel better you can wear your glasses at home.” “Oh yes. I forgot comfort goes out the window. How could I forget your stiletto heels that cause you so many blisters that you almost qualify for a disability badge?” He teases. “Exactly my point.” “Okay. I suppose I can try them.” As it happens, this is one of my better decisions of the week. Not only does Scott look better without glasses, the optician has a free slot and is able to examine Scott’s eyes. The optician is hot. Like Jake G and Tom H had a baby. I let my mind drift off to a fantasy date with the optician.

THE LINE BETWEEN US

THE LINE BETWEEN US

But then I realized something, he’d gotten closer. I hadn’t even heard him move, hadn’t seen him take a step, but somehow the space between us had vanished, leaving only a few feet of air that suddenly felt charged. I looked up, startled. His gaze was fixed on me, steady, quiet, unreadable in that way that used to drive me insane. “You got new glasses,” he said, his voice low, almost thoughtful. My brow furrowed. “Yeah. So?” He tilted his head slightly, his lips curving just a little. “I liked you better without them.”

His Substitute Wife

His Substitute Wife

Because he was wearing glasses, his green eyes couldn't be seen very well. Then I waited until I figured he wouldn't say anything more before proceeding. " If you promise me that you would help my parents. I'll agree to anything you desire. And..." "And?" He raised his eyes to mine and removed his glasses. I was able to see more of his brilliant eyes, which led me to believe he was innocent. I'm curious as to how many women this guy can cause pain to, or how many individuals he can trip over. "I'd want us to have a contract for something I don't want to be involved with. I don't want anything to happen too soon." I tucked my hand behind my back and pushed myself to keep it in my grasp.

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

I wanted to argue, but deep down, I knew he was right. I didn’t know a damn thing… “Have you thought about what will happen once you turn on whatever the hell you’ve turned off?” Kylan continued. “What will happen when you have to function without those glasses again?” I bit my lip, accepting the harsh truth because no—I hadn’t thought about that. The broken glasses, the loss of the Lyperian stone, would make my life way too difficult—and I didn’t know how to fix it. I didn’t know anything.

Cris
A year has already passed, and the book is still not finished. Although it is very well written (except for the chapters where the action drags), I have started to get bored. I keep waiting for “ the war that ends the world” but it never comes.

I used to wait for the chapters but now it is unnecessarily dragged on. Author builds up for climax so nicely but unfortunately it never comes which leaves reader frustrated and at some point gives up ( like me). Seems like lot of tease without any ending.
