Then I see the remnants of glasses, ash trays, cards, and other dubitable items messily tossed around in tables and nooks on the floor. Dan seems to have been right about him being a party animal.
As far as I can tell, his attendant isn't here.
Gabriel quickly clears some clothes from the couch, and gestures for me to take a seat.
"Do you want a drink?" he asks.
"Sure," I say.
"So, what brings you here, Mr. Stewart?" Gabriel pours two whiskeys and grabs some ice from the fridge. "I didn't quite get it from our brief conversation. You mentioned a party?"
