The Alpha King's Beloved

The Alpha King's Beloved

Between two large oak trees stood an extraordinarily tall and wide, gold-gilded mirror. “What in the realms is that?” I asked. Caspian chuckled and helped me out of the carriage. “That would be the Pyli Vasileiou, also known as the Realm Portal. It takes you between the different realms and allows others to travel through, though each realm has a gate one needs to get through before they can, and only those of royal bloodline of each race can activate it.” “So, that means you can open it?” He nodded, then walked over to the large mirror. He closed his eyes and touched the middle of the mirror which caused it to ripple like water and suddenly there was a picture of a foreign place. I peered a

Her palm. Time didn’t move here. She walked for a long time. The path became a narrow spiral staircase made of stone. It felt strange under her feet. At the bottom of the stairs, she found a room. In the middle of the room was a mirror. There was no frame or stand for it. The mirror floated above a silver platform. Its surface moved like water. Suddenly, a voice filled the room. “To take the Eye of Valkir, you must give your reflection.” Aelin frowned. “What does that mean?”

Werewolf Academy : The Alpha & Luna

“The huntress? What do you mean?” “Diana.” “As in from mythology?” “Yes, but she’s not mythic,” he answered, stepping back. “Either she favors you, a lot, or you’ve ticked her off.” I swallowed, not sure what to make of the situation. Elijah conjured a life-size mirror out of nowhere. Literally. It floated mid-air in front of us, reflecting Elijah’s somber expression and my distress. “What the actual crap?” I murmured, my voice barely audible. “Why do we need a mirror?”

Applied a fix to chapter 7 where I forgot to mention that Sally is Elijah's sister. ... New fixes should be visible within the next 48 hours (hopefully) once my editor approves them. Thanks for reading! ...

Okay, so just in case anybody was having the same problems as I was. To get the updated version you have to delete the book from your library and then re add it. Then you get the updated version that starts at chapter 18. My apologies to the author it was not her fault.

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

“Come. I saved the best for last—The Mirror of Ecstasies. It shows you the one thing you crave more than anything else... then makes you live it.” The door opened with a low groan that sounded more like a moan. The chamber beyond was dim, illuminated only by a floating mirror suspended in mid-air—seven feet tall and framed in living vines that pulsed with veins of red and violet light. It was warm, humid. The air smelled of jasmine and sweat. Emma stepped in, hesitant. The mirror shimmered, the surface not glass but liquid shadow, swirling with whispers. “The Mirror of Ecstasies,” Terra purred beside her, her voice like honey poured over steel. “This isn’t some toy, Emma. It doesn't lie. It

The Attic: Mirror

The Attic: Mirror

I pulled the cord and began to climb the ladder. Once I made it to the attic, I began shining the light through the room, but I still didn't see anything. Walking through, I felt something touch the bottom of my foot; it was glass. Why was there glass? I looked up to see a mirror that used to be in my room; I remember it like it was yesterday. Mom and Dad took it out when I was little because I woke up from nightmares; I was six, talking about gruesome things that a six-year-old girl shouldn't know about. I shoved that memory aside and looked back at the mirror then started to leave, but I saw something, a glimpse of something "Hello?" I breathed; my chest was beginning to hurt. I heard the

Though a Mirror Darkly

Though a Mirror Darkly

As she turned the sink’s faucet on, stuck her hands under the water (dammit if he couldn’t hear the water trickling over her hands, against the porcelain), she froze, gazing into the mirror over the sink, entranced by something only she could see. The voices in Andrew’s head kept screaming and the water from the faucet kept trickling into the sink, though the video feed made no sound . . . *** For a moment Deyquan forgot they were watching recorded footage, tempted to yell at Lizzy Tillman: Get the fuck out! Run! Freaky-ass kid’s getting closer! Get your ass out of there, now..! The video flickered. Rippling with static. The mirror’s glass melted and formed liquid hands—the best Deyquan coul

THE REFLECTION GAME

THE REFLECTION GAME

Anna’s breath came in shallow gasps as the light slowly dimmed, revealing their surroundings. They stood in a vast, circular chamber unlike anything she had seen before. The Heart of Reflections was a masterpiece of shimmering beauty and menacing energyTowering mirrors lined the walls, each glowing faintly and displaying fragments of countless worlds. The floor beneath their feet sparkled like polished obsidian, etched with glowing runes that pulsed softly, as if alive. But the most striking feature was the massive mirror at the center of the room. It was the largest they had encountered, its surface impossibly smooth and radiating an ominous golden light. The air around it crackled with ene

Wild Nights With My Lycan Step-brother

Wild Nights With My Lycan Step-brother

“I’m not letting that thing wear her face and fool us all.” Kaela hesitated, eyes flicking with something I couldn’t read—worry or pity. “Just don’t face her alone.” I didn’t answer. Because I already knew I would. Later that day, I found myself in the east wing, standing before an old silver mirror. It was one of the pack relics—said to reveal a soul’s true form. My reflection stared back, tired eyes, clenched jaw. Normal. Until she walked by. Her reflection lingered behind mine, even when she’d already passed. And it smiled. Wide. Wrong.
