Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

The galaxy was no longer a silent library; it was a sprawling, clanging construction site. The "Entropy-Guild" had become the backbone of this new reality, a loose confederation of engineers, dreamers, and survivors who specialized in the art of the "Imperfection." They traveled in ships that looked like floating cathedrals of iron and wood, seeking out the last "Cold-Spots" where the Curators' influence still lingered. Their mission was simple: to introduce chaos where there was order, and growth where there was stasis.

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

They all watched as Zar said something to Germaine to which she threw her head back and laughed out loudly before he jogged over to them. Storm had never used his glamour before but he knew without being told this was not just any creature. Zar was a wanderer and a powerful one at that. Using his ordinary wiles on him might not be persuasive enough. He concentrated on Zar's eyes as he got closer to them, making sure to put his whole attention on him. "Yes, Storm, you called." Zar sounded subdued. Too subdued for his liking. Storm was going to go for a speech before the eventual ticking off, but Galieel beat him to it.

Sinister Storm

Sinister Storm

“You want the boss? Fine. Dalton Storm. He’s the one running things now. Not the guy out front, not the dummy they parade for the cops. But I don't know who pulls the strings.” The blade didn’t move. "Anything else?" “What's the plan?” he asked cooly “There is a big drop coming to the east dock,” I said. “ If you're wondering, they're not weapons, not this time. He's bringing in young hybrid Wolves. They’re being sold off to rogue alphas and freaks who collect our kind like trophies. It’s dirty work, well I guess you knew that much” There was still no response. Just that icy metal kissing my skin. Damn he was hard to get anything out of.

Sunlight After the Storm

Sunlight After the Storm

His words, his face—everything about him made me sick. I went pale and forced a smile. "I can forgive you. All it'll cost is your life." Emily's face darkened. "Nathan, that's enough!" But before she even finished speaking, Jake grabbed a vase off the table and smashed it against his own head. Blood ran down his forehead. Emily and my mother both screamed. A heavy slap landed across my face. For a moment, my ears rang so loud I couldn't hear anything. All I could see was Emily's face—pure disgust and irritation.

Through The Storm

Through The Storm

“Do you guys even know how to change a satellite? Because if not, then all our work here is useless.” Skyr stopped glaring at Byron as he marched in my direction. “I do.” He grumbled as he stood beside me and started examining the outline of the satellite. “It seems like we need to change the disk after all. There are a few cracks, which must have been caused by some sort of storm. Maybe that’s why the others haven’t returned. The storm must have caught them.” He observed. “Lord Byron, can you bring me the tools? Nathalia, can you also hand me the wires? And be wary of the wind. If a storm does come, we have to seek shelter at a lower ground immediately.”

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

The sky above Haida Gwaii was no longer blue, nor was it the violent violet of the shield. It was Silver. Millions of Sterling drones hung in a perfect, terrifying stasis, suspended by residual gravity-anchors. They looked like a ceiling of needles, a metallic fog that blocked out the sun but allowed a strange, diffused grey light to filter down onto the Anchorage. Occasionally, one would twitch—a faint, mechanical spasm as it tried to resolve the "Loss" loop Kael had injected—but for now, the Swarm was a sleeping giant.

A.I.

A.I.

The stars scattered and their glow dimmed into the ever darkness of these emotionless nights. Even the moons and various heavenly bodies receded from sight because all that could be seen was a displacement of everything in the immediate vista of the cosmos. No less than 50 galaxies had crumbled to dust with just the short war ensued between beings that were as grand as the heavens that tried to hold them up but ultimately failed in its shackled hands. "BOOM!" "BOOM!" "BOOM!" The newly arrived immortal's voice was set aside as the sounds of conflicting forces roused the darkness time and time again.

The starting was serious. The child mature too fast, which is sad, but hopefully 'bullies' let them be and not add to their condition. looks promising, especially the curiosity of how the kids are going to pull through. nice ?
