SHOOTING A SHOT AT THE ICE KING
Chase reached over the glass, caught the front of my jacket, and pulled me toward him, pressing a hard, sweaty, triumphant kiss against my lips right there on the edge of the rink.
"Game 1 is ours, Hopkins," Chase rasped against my mouth, his breath warm and shallow, his dark blue eyes blazing with pure, victorious passion.
"You played them like a fiddle, Kensington," I gasped softly, a breathless laugh escaping my chest as I looked up into his handsome, flushed face.
"I told you," Chase whispered, his hand gently cupping my jaw through the photo portal, his thumb rubbing over my cheekbone. "They play for revenge. We play for everything that matters. Now let's go home."
