I can see Garrett in a fair few photos, but I don’t recognize anyone else in any of the photos and the ones where the riders are wearing their helmets are the most difficult because I can’t see their eyes through the visors. Garrett interrupted my train of thought as I was looking around the lobby to take me on a tour of the entire warehouse. I was very impressed with what I could see. Garrett had a whole CEO office-sized room that has a plaque on the door saying, ‘Garrett’s Trophy Room’ and inside was cabinet after cabinet of trophies, awards, shields, and pictures of him with major prizes like a cash prize and even cars.

The firelight from Garrett's fireplace burned low, casting angry flickers across the stone walls of his private chambers. The stench of burnt scrolls and records still clung to his cloak as he paced. Two of his masked enforcers stood silently before him, with their heads bowed. The kind of wolf who did not need details, only orders. Garrett's voice was low, deadly calm. But the ringtone rang again and again, and Garrett remained unmoved. I was surprised. In the past, if it was Victoria's call, it wouldn't ring for more than three seconds before he answered. But now, Garrett sat as still as a statue. Oddly enough, I found this terrifying. When Garrett loved someone, he could put them on a pedestal. But once he withdrew his affection, he could watch them die without blinking an eye. I tried to move away, but my wolf seemed paralyzed under his gaze. I called out to Garrett, but he just stared at me intently.
