Mateo swallowed, “Then hire a fucking nanny. We need Ella back to do her job.”
“Mateo,” I hissed, shooting him a glare.
He shut his mouth and darted his eyes away.
“How’s Cato’s training going?” I asked, watching my son as he threw Elias to the ground with a thud.
“He’s two months ahead of his target,” Mateo said, “That kid is phenomenal.”
“Including his gun training?”
“Yes, including that. But the chance of him ever using it is slim, you know that, right? We don’t know of any group of wolves using guns. Not now the cartel threats have been squashed.”
