Novel & Cerita Gate War Of Two Worlds

Warriors grabbed onto whatever they could—pillars, walls, each other—trying not to get pulled in. Two warriors weren’t fast enough. They screamed as the Gateway grabbed them, lifting them off their feet. Their bodies stretched and twisted, becoming transparent, and then they were just… gone. Erased. Like they’d never existed at all. “Get the twins!” Troy shouted. He and Stone rushed to the hanging cages. Stone ripped one cage door off its hinges with his bare hands while Troy did the same to the other. Raven and Ryker tumbled out, crying and terrified. Stone scooped up Ryker while Troy grabbed Raven, pulling them away from the circle, away from the Gateway.

Its surface shimmered like the broken mirror back at the fortress. Kaelen slowed, heart pounding. The mark on his chest pulsed in rhythm with the arch’s glow. Mireya approached cautiously. “You think that’s—” “An echo gate,” he said. “The kind the old monks sealed after the first crossing.” Her eyes widened. “You mean between the worlds?” He nodded once. “Then that’s impossible. Those gates were destroyed centuries ago.” “Apparently not all of them.” The ground rumbled again, dust falling from the arch as light spread along its edges. Inside the hollow, something shimmered—an image flickering between shadow and reflection.

At the same time, from the opposite direction, a wave of black-clad figures emerged—The Mother's troops. And at their front was a young man whose face matched Amara's, though his eyes were pitch black. The twin. Orion. Black flames danced around his hands, just as blue fire flickered around Amara's. "No," Celeste whispered. The prophecy was real—the twin fires that could open the gate between worlds. If The Mother got control of both kids... Chaos exploded around her. Wolves fought wolves. Dorian screamed orders. The Mother's cold voice rose above the noise, ordering her soldiers forward.

I said shaking my head, “Gateway? What, gateway? And what union?” “A gateway that passes between the worlds to this one; each world has hidden portals, and each gateway has guardians. The Weston’s are the guardians of the one near here. Not only are they guardians, but they are also our protectors.” She looked me in the eyes when she added, “Rayna, this cannot be repeated...not even to your friends. Do you understand?” I nodded my head slowly. All of what was said seems so unbelievable. “What Union?” I asked again sounding a little choked up. It was now beginning to make sense.

I nodded in agreement. I sat back as Gavin drove us out of my territory. The outskirts of the territory were in shambles. Fives years since the end of the war and it had not yet recovered. I felt ashamed of my lack of leadership, not only towards my pack but to my late father as well.

I knew from the moment I met her that she was different but I still cannot explain the pull I feel towards her. "I really want you to know I don't care if you're broke or rich, I like you for you." She whispered in my ear "Thank you," I said with a slight blush forming on my cheeks "but it was just so much for me to take in when we went to your house. I was just so worried and still am worried you would never go for someone like me when you realize how different our worlds are." "It's never easy when two worlds collide." She whispered looking down at the ground as she thought on what I had said

Then: "You have no idea what's waiting outside the gates." The words felt real. Dangerously real. Then suddenly— the Second Fragment activated. Blue light erupted from Thomas's hand. A vision appeared. The world. The real world. Kingdoms burning. Cities destroyed. Millions fleeing. And above them— hundreds of red portals opening across the planet. The First Ones. Everywhere. Then the vision vanished. Immediately. Thomas staggered. Breathing hard. Then Aurelius looked at him. Then: "Now you understand." The room went silent.

Evelyn's face screwed up in disgust. “My goodness. It’s filthy.” She meant the words more for herself, but Andrew heard her whispers and looked up. Ahead in the unnaturally dwindling early afternoon light, the edges of the Gateway City were coming into view, stretching out along the horizon. Industrial smokestacks belched plumes of inky black dust into a cloud that crouched heavily over the city like a hen over a nest of eggs.

“We’ll enter the realm of the Mevara and find Adelia, no matter the cost.” Reina nodded in agreement. “We’re in this together,” she said, her voice steady. “Let’s go.” The Keeper cackled once more, their dark magic swirling around them. “Very well,” they said. “But remember, once you enter the realm of the Mevara, there is no turning back.” Without another word, the Keeper disappeared into the eerie night.

A second gate. My pulse quickened, but Maeve held up a warning hand. "It was sealed for a reason, Ronan. The old stories say it was unstable, dangerous. That it killed more people than it saved." "I don't care about the danger." "You should." Her voice was sharp now. "This gate doesn't just transport bodies... it tears holes between worlds. Opening it could destroy both realms, or worse." "What's worse than destruction?" "Fusion." The word fell between us like a stone into still water. "The Shadow Realm bleeding into ours permanently. Darkness spreading across the mortal world until there's no difference between life and death."
