Choas and change

Choas and change

Not the gentle, contemplative kind but the kind where spirit and soul wrestle beneath the weight of divine interruption. “God, what is this?” he cried. “Why me? Why now?” No voice answered audibly this time. But a scripture formed clearly in his mind: “Then the Lord put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, ‘Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.’” Jeremiah 1:9 James opened his grandmother’s Bible again. That verse was already underlined not by him. His phone buzzed. A message from an unknown number.

Forgive Me Father

Forgive Me Father

Not the boy in the back who haunted me more than any sin I had ever confessed. “Father Vale?” Genevieve’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts. “Would you lead us this morning?” I nodded, stood, and walked to the front. All eyes were on me. I opened the Bible, read the verses, spoke the words, and told them about faith, about strength, about resisting temptation. The irony did not escape me. Because even as my lips shaped holy words, all I could think about was how close Ezra had been in the dark. His body brushing mine. His warmth.

Until Death

Until Death

The voice made me remember a verse our pastor used as a sermon in the bible the last time I attended the evening bible study that always takes place every Tuesday. I can recall the verse very well that says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Take therefore the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, therefore, with your loins girt with truth and your breastplate of righteousness on. And with the preparation of the gospel of peace on your feet;

The Rule

The Rule

(Numbers 6:24–26 — the priestly blessing given to the Levites) With the sound of the ram’s horn, he anointed Ayman with oil — his forehead, his hands, his heart. “Blessed is the one who fights for justice under the banner of Christ. “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalm 20:7) “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of Hosts. A Gen‑Z Snitch Ruined My Name

A Gen‑Z Snitch Ruined My Name

I walked onto the stage and adjusted the microphone. "Good morning, everyone," I said, my voice ringing clearly through the speakers across the entire hall. "Regarding the recent online controversy and everyone's concerns about the year-end holiday arrangements, on behalf of the company, I'd like to offer my sincere apologies." Thunderous applause erupted instantly, and Sylvie's live chat exploded. "Goodness gracious! The capitalist actually caved!" "Amazing! Gen Z successfully fixed the workplace!" "You did it, queen! You won!" Ryan led the applause below, grinning ear to ear. He nodded to me as he clapped, as if saying, "See? You should've just done this right from the start".

How To Survive Your Mate's Rejection

How To Survive Your Mate's Rejection

But they decided not to pry anymore, since Noah seemed really tired. *** Lola, who’s left behind in the living room, pouted her lips, “What about me, Martha?” Martha looked at her, “Well you can review Genesis 19 verse 1-11 in your room,” she paused and beamed with pleasure, “do you remember what verse is it about?” “Sodom and Gomorrah…” she reluctantly replied and then glared at her stepmother, “But I already reviewed it last night!”

I am digging this story. I am shocked with all the twists and turns but am loving it. I like how the main character is not stupid and goes back to his abuser. I love how he is strong and the inner wolf does not force him to return to his 1st mate like other stories. I highly recommend this story.

Destiny's Thread

Destiny's Thread

She was sure he was in good hands, just not sure who his parents were by name but she knew they were rich and would love him. Perhaps, she thought, if he was with her he'd also be dead by now. She was happy for him. A thought rushed through her mind. She quickly took her phone and opened the bible app on it. She scrolled through and found a verse: Timothy 1:7; Lord, you have not given me the spirit of fear, therefore, I resist every form of fear that Satan may want to instill in me through this dream, in the name of Jesus. Fear, I bound you, I come against you, I cast you out of my mind and domain right now, in Jesus name.

Vampire Covenant Room

Vampire Covenant Room

“I want you all to listen to Pastor John now as he leads us in scripture and prayer at this time in history. This is a momentous occasion that should be remembered and cherished. Pastor John, the stage is yours.” The pastor stepped up, held up his bible and said, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, and by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image, Genesis 9:6. These evil people shed the blood of man, and now we will send them to God for their righteous punishment. Pray with me, moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.” Rancid shook his head in disgust. “I think he’s cherry picking scripture, I hat

“You’ll learn. You are the smartest person I ever met. Even back when you were a teenager, you were smarter than me.” “I don’t feel smarter,” said Jeannine, looking out to the infinite blackness that surrounded them. “Trust me, you are. You just need to act the part. “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 12:20.” Jeannine snorted. “You quoting the Bible at me now?” Curtis laughed, too. “You would’ve had a lot of that if you’d come to live with Georgina and me.”

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

"Again, that is only if we don't let God be part of the equation!" "Exactly!" I approved, wondering what made me accept his statement of the usefulness of God in the life of a man. Elder Moses looked at the ceiling, raised his middle finger and brought it down. Was it a sign I didn't understand? "The first book of Corinthians, chapter two and verses four to five is one of my favorite Bible verses for this exact reason! Verse four says, 'And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,' while verse five concludes by adding, 'That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.' Actually the
