They are hiding not all human knowledge of their existence, they believe humans as weak creatures. werewolf in European folklore, a man who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by the day. One of the earliest known werewolf legends comes from a greek mythology. According to the legend, a man named Lycaon angered Zeus, the lord of the Gods, when he served Zeus a meal made from human flesh. As punishment, the enlarged Zeus turned Lycaon into a wolf and that was how werewolves came into existence.

He too was burned to death at the stake for his monstrous crimes. Whether Burgot, Verdun or Garnier were mentally ill, acted under the influence of a hallucinogenic substance or were simply cold-blooded killers is up for debate. But it likely didn’t matter to superstitious Europeans during the 16th century. To them, such heinous crimes could only be committed by a horrific beast such as the werewolf. The Bedburg Werewolf Peter Stubbe, a wealthy, fifteenth-century farmer in Bedburg, Germany, may be the most notorious werewolf of them all. According to folklore, he turned into a wolf-like creature at night and devoured many citizens of Bedburg.

But if it was possible… As the search results populated the screen, I clicked on the first article that caught my eye, hoping it would shed some light on my problem. Article 1: The Mythology of Werewolves 'Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are mythical creatures that appear in folklore and legends across various cultures. The transformation into a werewolf is typically associated with the full moon, although variations exist in different traditions. The exact methods of becoming a werewolf vary, but common themes include being bitten by an existing werewolf, a curse, or practising dark magic. The notion of werewolves congregating in packs is prevalent in many legends, often in remote o

he said. The gathered werewolves cheered in happiness, with some of them howling excitedly. “Ok, ok, let me finish.” He said, stopping their cheering. “This celebration is restricted to the members of this pack only and there will be lots of venison and drinks for everyone, so leave whatever you're doing and come to my mansion.” He concluded with both hands outstretched. The werewolves howled again as Alpha Tristan turned around and left with Adriana by his side and Maxion behind him.

“The Arctic Wolf Pack was the largest in the world, but when other werewolves found out that they were special they began killing them trying to steal their powers." I gasped. Powers! What the hell was this vampire raving about? “Pi, don't scare the girl with your stupid urban legends,” Nicky warned. “No. I'm not scared, just curious.” I told them. “Tell me what you know about the Arctic Wolf Pack.” “Well, I know around 21 years ago they were all killed by a werewolf known only as Razor Tail. It's believed that this wolf worships Hades, the god of the underworld, instead of the moon goddess, Selene.”

There was another plethora of creatures that were said to bring good luck but there were also those that brought misfortune and desolation wherever one of them decided to dwell. These were especially witches and vampires who used human beings for their spells and meals. Another species that had sown misfortune among men, was the lycanthropes. The fact that they look like big wolves and that you only hear them on a full moon has fueled the myth of the werewolf only changing on full moon nights. This was of course wrong because lycanthropes can change into a wolf at any time. Full moon nights are just the times when young alphas are looking for mates in the pack and therefore have to charm the

Alpha Dan nods, "We haven't yet burned the bodies. Do you need me to call the doctor of the pack?" Some packs that still live in Middle Ages insist on burning the bodies of the werewolves that vampires have killed. Remote packs even think that a werewolf that is bitten and drained of his or her blood by a vampire will rise the third night after he or she died and turn into a moroi or moroacă. You wonder what a moroi is? It is a different type of vampire, and depending on the region of Romania, some might say a moroi is even a type of a ghost or a phantom.

"You don't have to care about that, it's not safe for a young girl like you to be here alone. You should go home!" "Thank you but is there a wolf over a hundred years old here?" Afraid of him thinking too much, I added. "My grandfather is very sick, I heard that there is a werewolf over a hundred years old here, so I wanted to ask for the secret to a long life, but unfortunately I can't find him." The werewolf's attitude immediately changed. "Life and death are predetermined, you have to accept." He growled, holding out his sharp claws in front of me. "And now go home."

Besides, even though I am being a complete nagger towards Dmitri, I haven’t even experienced him acting in such a manner that he would try to terrify me by actually shifting into a wolf. In addition to that, what I understand and believe about werewolves is that they don't transform easily unless it's a full moon. Unless they belong to the species of celestial wolves who could actually transform whenever they please. I remember that tale being part of the old folklore in Anacortes where the lone wolf fell in love with the moon Goddess. There was a tale there that the lone wolf would shift into his human form every now and then after the moon Goddess granted him the mate whom he will be spend

repeated in horrified tones, saw mothers pulling their children closer, watched as pack members unconsciously stepped away from me. "Mom?" Oliver's voice trembled slightly. He knew what this accusation meant – we both did. In werewolf society, thieves were considered worse than rogues. They were wolves who stole mate bonds, who could manipulate the sacred connection between true mates. They were cursed by the Moon Goddess herself, or so the legends said.
