“Like that’ll fucking work,” muttered Fernández, but he followed his friend anyway.
The two men pulled up short when they eyed two skeletons standing watch at the front doors. The remains stood guard on either side of the entrance, facing each other.
“They didn’t react to all our noise,” Fernández said quietly. “More of Papa Nightmare’s zonbi soldiers, ya think?”
“Want me to crush them into powder?” asked the Golem.
“Okay, you’re scaring me with all this smashing and crushing shit, man,” whispered Fernández. “Maybe we should find another way around.”
