The man spoke from behind her making her startled. She stopped and turned abruptly and bumped into him. “Ouch!.” She exclaimed in pain as she rubbed her nose and stared at the man unhappily. The man simply shook his head in amusement as he continued, “The abandoned library” Laura nodded her head and walked in the direction, her heart was trying to jump out of her heart as it was famous that, the abandoned library is a home for ghosts and that’s the reason no one ever opens it or tries to go near it.

"Seriously? Our campus has a haunted library?" Lucas nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! It's in the west building. At night, there are sometimes strange noises. I heard that someone has seen a figure in a black robe walking around there." Hearing that, Meredith tapped Raven on the shoulder. "How about it, Raven? Let's get ready for our ghost hunting mission." Raven pretended to raise her hand, feigning trepidation. "No comment, all that matters is that we get good grades!" On Saturday, the group decided to start their research project in the old library.

he asks, and I stop pacing, trying to find a way of getting Calliope out of this mess. “I need you to pin the murder on someone, get an anonymous tip, do something, but get the police’s asses out of Calliope’s business,” I bark at the phone, and Ghost laughs on the other side. “You are so fucking pussy whipped, don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to her, I had one of my guys following her yesterday, you know, doing the job you told me to do, and he said he was in the library till it closed, way past his death time, she won’t be implicated in this, plus… I bet loads of people saw her there,” Ghost pipes in.

I swiftly hid myself behind the nearest column before Bruce looked in my direction. “We’re like creepy stalkers,” Gugu complained and hid too. “You’re a ghost, Gugu.” I reminded her and she just gave me a pout. Bruce entered the library. We hurried up to catch up. I roamed my sight when I lost sight of Bruce. My eyes laid at the librarian first. She looked at me from head to toe. I just gave her a small bow before entering her territory and she responded with a small smile. I was stunned for seconds because of that. She was one of the terror profs in the university and making her smile was nearly impossible. No one dared to make a noise in her den, not even the resonating click-clack of heel

Then the library—shelves, books, ghosts, drones, friends, monster, *everything*— *Detonated into white static.* *No up. No down. No sound. No time.*

Derek said reasonably, though his posture visibly stiffened as he aimed his flashlight down the hallway. "I hope so," I breathed. "No," Tasha said flatly, grabbing the back of Derek's shirt. "This house is haunted. Jonathan Vance's ghost is back for his property. We are all going to die." "Calm down, Tasha," Derek said softly. "There's no such thing as a haunted—" CRASH! A loud, violent smash shattered the quiet—the sound of a heavy wooden display shelf toppling onto the hardwood floor in the library.

Through it. The glass seems to ripple, like a pond disturbed by a stone. For a heartbeat, the room behind me disappears, replaced by the deep, crushing dark of the void. And then, a presence. It’s not a face. It’s a pressure. A cold, suffocating weight that smells of lavender and old earth. Eveline. I don't speak aloud. The walls have ears. I speak with my intent, pushing the thought through the blood on the glass. The Wolf is distracted. He is hunting ghosts in the library.

she added. "But while we were in the library and I touched the walls, I saw a quick vision or let's say a trance , they were both there and it was like they were about carrying out a ritual ceremony, their father held upside down and they wore red flowering robes before the trance disappeared". If they didn't kill their father in the library then why did I see that trance or that vision. "Maybe they did kill his body , but maybe his soul is still alive ". There's this trick we witches know how to preserve one's soul even after killing the body . That's why we would need time to survey that library Ava, it seems they are hiding something in there ." She finally said

I had been wrong. It took no time at all. I barely rounded the second-floor mezzanine before Lucien Nerezza slipped from the shadows like a smirk wrapped in velvet. “Well, well,” he drawled, his voice like honeyed poison. “The infamous Bloodpine ghost, haunting our precious stacks already.” I stopped cold. My wolf didn’t believe for a second this was coincidence. “Lucien,” I said flatly. “I figured you’d be in some broody tower window, not slinking around the library like you’ve got secrets to sniff out.”

moonlight from the huge windows staining the hall like silver blood. The Blackwood University library was cold, high, gothic and creepy as fuck at night. wolves avoided it because old werewolf spirits lingered in the shelves like forgotten grudges. Scarlet and Mira didn’t avoid anything. They entered. Scarlet walked directly to the forbidden knowledge section like she owned the place. Mira followed, holding three textbooks like shields. Scarlet dropped books on the table with a slam. “Okay.” Scarlet said, voice flat, serious like a murderer writing names. “I’ll take the fucking intelligence questions.”
