She hadn’t even realized she’d been biting her lower lip until the dull sting brought her back to herself. Zachary Gonzalez, on the other hand, was mature enough to admit what he’d been avoiding for too long: he was utterly, hopelessly obsessed with the little woman standing before him. He shouldn’t think about her as much as he did. She was in his bones, embedded in his soul, living inside him like a wildfire. And still, every day, he reacted to her. Needed and craved her. “I don’t like it when we fight, Tinkerbell,” he said at last, his voice low and rough, breaking the charged silence that had hung between them since the door opened.

I hate myself for considering that some part of me is relishing the prospect of igniting that board… even if it burns him up too. "What's in the coin?" I insist. A pause. "Truth," they answer brusquely. And they're off—gliding into the darkness so fast my eyes can't track the motion. I turn back to Pandora. "Can you track them?" "Already trying," she snarls, tapping at her comm. "But whoever they are? They are Ghosts.". I look back at Cassian. His lids are half-closed, yet his gaze remains fixed on me.

He then spoke, pointing at Ghost, who by the way was still bouncing around in the flowers. Oh crap, I totally forgot about him! I mentally slapped myself, then turned to the side, “Oh my god, Ghost, get back here!” I shouted at the crazed husky. “Ghost?” The guy instantly asked confused. “Yeah, she’s a total Game of Thrones fan,” Kara explained giggling. “Oh...” He mumbled, while I was still looking at Ghost, who was heading towards me, but suddenly stopped in his tracks and started howling like a crazed wolf.

KARMA I practically skipped through the clubhouse towards the truck where we’d left Zodiac and Bull, with Ghost just behind me, a murderous expression on his face.
