Not this time. We moved into the house with precision. Eddie was right next to me, his presence a solid support. It didn't take long before we noticed Luigi—sitting in the shadows, looking like a mere ghost of the man he once was. His eyes widened when he saw us, a mix of fear and defiance on his face. "I thought you'd never find me," he taunted, trying to get up but stumbling. "Interesting," I replied coldly. He straightened up, attempting to regain some control. "You think you've won, huh? You believe that taking me out will solve everything?"

What should we do? I slowly turned around to head back to the car and hide, only to hear the man's voice again. "Uh-huh? Who's that?" As I glanced back, I saw the guy in front of Luigi checking me out. How did he spot me with Luigi's bulk covering me? Luigi blocked the guy's view, asking, "Have you eaten? If not, come with me." Huh? Didn't we just eat? Is he hungry again? Luigi tried to hide me, but the guy tapped him and shoved him aside. Now, the guy was right in front of me. I discreetly sought help from Luigi behind the guy, but he also appeared troubled, rubbing his nose with his eyes closed.

I did a quick inventory of where I had hidden various baskets and bags. "If someone is willing to run back to where you found me," I said, "there was a big basket in the raspberry patch beside the smoker." One guy said, "I'm on it." He promptly turned around and started to run back. He jumped over a log and shifted into his tan wolf mid-leap. I blinked as he disappeared from sight and glanced at the one with Beta blood. He shrugged. "Crazy Luigi will always be crazy Luigi." He held out his hand to me, saying, "In case you didn't catch it, I'm Liam."

A younger member is being blindsided by three thirsty ones and none of my guards have noticed. Rage ripples through my coat as I bolt across the barren earth. The youngster kills the one biting his arm and I rip the two off his back. I decapitate the monsters as the rest of my guards grab the young male. Dom- How many Luigi- 11, Capo Fury shoots through me and I roar again. My members scramble out of my way as I begin to destroy anything I can grab. Dom- AT FIRST LIGHT WE LEAVE FOR THE RUINS!

On the ride back, Carlo whispered, "The forces behind Luigi haven't been completely uncovered yet." My phone vibrated, and a message from Spettro popped up. "Cleanup complete." I replied, "Gather everyone. Tonight, we'll celebrate at the Costa residence."

The fact that I had only known him for a few days made me embarrassed that he saw me getting so emotional about some absurd thing. "Invaders..." He immediately stood up and looked toward the front of their castle where the crowd was spending the rest of the night. I gasped in shock. Luigi looked very serious, as if he were trying to sense the presence of other wolves. I could only look at him; I could not sense something like invaders. I could only hear the music coming from the event; I could not hear anything other than that. I jumped out of nervousness when I finally heard some growls and screams. Luigi extended his arm like he was protecting me from something.

He listened carefully to the surroundings and adjusted his vision in the darkness. "Luigi..." Luigi hesitated when the voice called his name again. Luigi had goosebumps because of the depth of the voice of the caller to his name. The kind of voice that seems to be in the pit. Terrifying. "Luigi..." Luigi stood up and couldn't help but answer. "Who are you? Show yourself!" He tried to roam his eyes around, but he couldn't see anyone. "I'm here," the voice replied. "Where?! Show yourself! Coward!" Honestly, Luigi is scared as hell! He is a fighter, but if his opponent is like this, cannot be seen anywhere or worse, a ghost, he is effin' dead. He is freaking scared of ghosts, to be honest!

Boris pulls out a gun and shoots Luigi in the head. I could only scream in pain at the loss of my brother as I am dragged out of that house.

That's why, I am Luciano Pavarotti. Nonetheless, Luigi was fast in kicking the pistol out of my reach. “Don't you want to know how she died first before getting in a hurry to kill me?" Luigi demanded and I twitched my jaw, wishing I could break every single last one of his fucking bones. I lurched forward and backward, inhaling the smell of my fresh blood. Yet I didn't let them deter me.

My heels echo on the concrete floor, each step making me feel more and more out of place. Perhaps Papà wasn't as rich as them. Or didn't see the need for these weapons. Cause I don't. Luigi finally stops, turning to face me. “You okay?” I almost laugh. The absurdity of the question catches me off guard. “Do I look okay?” I snap. To my surprise, he doesn’t snap back. Instead, he studies me for a moment with an unreadable expression. “You’ll get used to it,” he says finally. “Get used to what? This?” I gesture wildly at the room, at the walls bristling with instruments of death.
