I say, but as I climb to my feet I hear a grunt and glance over my shoulder to see Val in a brawl with a rogue almost twice her size. “Val, your blind spot!” I cry as I see a rogue stalk from the trees towards her back. I run to her but I can tell I won’t be quick enough. Her gun is on the ground, forgotten, and the knife at her belt will be useless if she doesn’t pull it free quickly. “You’re knife, Val!” I scream. “I’ve got this!” Val yells, her eyes wild as she takes her eyes off the rogue to glare at me, causing her guard to come down enough that the rogue towering over her lifts her up by the neck of her jacket and hurls her against the nearest tree.

Club Rogue is particularly packed tonight. It’s Saturday and we’re not the only ones who want to get down and dirty tonight. Monique is looking explicitly beautiful tonight. She’s wearing a simple purple dress with a halter neck that drops at her mid-thigh, just past her butt, paired with knee-length white boots. See, the red shade color, not so vibrant, but believe me it vibes with any other clotheslines. Casual dress, jeans…leathered outfits.” Edward cleared his throat, “Don’t worry. You’ll get royalty from one pair of sold shoes from our stores.” Elena tugged her hair to the back of ear. “Please, donate it to your animal shelter and unlucky ones as you told me.”

Above her head, a golden halo adorned with a glowing crescent moon rests. Her body is no longer that of a young girl on the cusp of womanhood. It is now the form of a beautiful, voluptuous woman. Her rounded breasts stand out above her slender waist. Her lush curves are barely covered by a stunning, almost transparent tunic that also shimmers with a silvery glow. Gil's entire body is surrounded by an aura resembling moonlight. Tall white boots, embellished with golden arabesques, reach up to the middle of her thighs.

Perhaps it was the way I looked, my eyes; they were dark, and during investigations, I am not Nightbane; I am Voidheart. I exhaled and stopped moving, not wanting to get any closer to her, and my eyes returned to normal. “All of you have the same rouge. Where did it come from?” I asked, my voice neutral, and silence fell. They were afraid, afraid to say where it came from. There has been only one person sharing rogues in the palace, Nyxora. “A maiden named Anna shared them with us. She said it was from the Luna to appreciate our beauty.” A shaken voice from the back said, and without another word, I stormed out of the bath, holding the rouge in my hand.

Nothing could compare to its beauty; it was a masterpiece, its crimson surface shimmering like blood in the sunlight pouring through the high windows. Standing before the crimson throne was a young woman, her fiery hair cascading like a waterfall of flames over her shoulders. Pyra, soon to be crowned Rhaella FireHeart, radiated an aura of strength and regality as she watched the crowd with her head raised high. Her purple gown hugged her growing belly, a testament to the next generation of FireHeart blood. Despite her delicate condition, she stood upright, exuding an unshakeable confidence and undeniable power.

The gaping wound closed slowly until her skin was smooth again, leaving behind only a white gown drenched in thick, crimson fluid. ​"Failed again," she whispered, her voice hoarse with resignation. "When ... can I finally end this?" ​Suddenly, the great hall doors shattered into splinters. A bone-chilling cold swept inside. The Widow's Peak alpha was a woman made of ice and iron. She didn't offer us seats. She didn't offer us anything. Her hall was carved from black stone, and the torches burned low and red. The alpha, Ravenna, sat on a throne of twisted iron with her hands gripping the armrests and her pale eyes fixed on me like I was a problem she was trying to solve. She was older than me, maybe forty, with iron-grey hair braided tight against her skull and a mouth that looked like it had never smiled.

“Rouge... harder, please—” I panicked. I needed to get out. I took a shaky step backward, my hand reaching for the doorknob. Rouge stopped. He froze completely mid-thrust, his thick, rigid length still buried deep inside his woman. The woman looked confused. Slowly, terrifyingly, Rouge turned his head over his scarred shoulder. His eyes weren't silver. They weren't icy blue. They were a burning, lethal crimson. The moment his gaze locked onto mine, I felt that again, I am in danger...

As they chatted, the ship eventually came to a stop. The hatch opened, and Madame Rouge and her men approached. Madame Rouge hardly gave Alex and the others a glance. To her, they appeared to be no different from ants. Instead, she addressed a group of workers. "Devil’s Hill is here. Senior Lee, I'm still a reasonable person. You guys help me dig. Your mission will be accomplished as long as you open the mining channel and find the Witch Essence inside. I'll send you back safely, and the residents of your Unicorn Fortress will also be safe and sound."
