I guess eight hundred years in a box did make me mature. “Giles I need to ask a favor of you,” I say, pushing my empty glass away, and turning to face him. He cocks his head to the side and looks at me with wild anticipation. He pauses for a moment when a human female walks by and makes eyes at him, and I have no doubt she’s a “lady of the evening.” “Don’t ever talk to me again. Forget you saw me,” I whisper, as I push myself out of the seat. His face falls, but only briefly. Then his laughter is menacing, and it cuts right to my black little heart.

I was deep in thought, wondering why Aunt Maya was really here. But it became clear tonight. I had eavesdropped on her and her dad. "Gwen may not be a werewolf; the girl may be human, just like her mother. "But I don't want to believe that." "Artemis was a wolf, Dylan!" Aunt Maya cautioned her brother. "She was not; I bit her." "She was never born a wolf." "Gwen will be going to wolf camp; they'll train her." He said.

I knew exactly how powerful we'd become. "Sebastian… bloody… Grimwald!" Gordon muttered through clenched teeth, dialing the number anyway. One of the university deans beside him turned pale. "G-Grimwald? O-Of Sleeping Giant? The one who came to host the recruitment drive? Oh, shit!" He dropped to his knees and slapped himself as he begged for mercy. "I didn't know it was you! You looked familiar, but I didn't realize! I had nothing to do with those videos! Nothing to do with what these bastards did!

Dumbstricken, Emily raised an eyebrow at him, “Excuse me?” “You’re excused.” He waved his hand on the air dismissively. “Uh– I think I misheard you.” She said. Grim is leaving her speechless. “Ha!” Grim smiled a creepy one. The edges of his lips pulled from ear to ear. “I’m just kidding with ya.” “Kidding with me about what exactly?” He squinted his eyes and sighed, “You’re not dead for fuck’s sake, Emily.” “Not dead?” Her eyes widened, “That’s not possible! I’ve cut my wrist! I fell on the floor and my blood has been oozing out unendingly and how am I not dead?”

“Why not?” “Because we already have a Grandpa. We just have to think of something else.” “Like what?” Calisto asked, peering over at his sister from the edge of the bed. “Gramps?” “He’s the king of all werewolves, Cal. I’m sure he wouldn’t allow us to call him that.” Calisto pouted and plopped down back on the bed like a starfish. “But it doesn’t matter,” Gillian suddenly declared, sounding worryingly small. “We wouldn’t even meet him anyway. Daddy’s not coming back.”

My arms are outstretched as if I'm conducting a sermon and this entire not-very-big, dull---dull town is my congregation. "Ladies and gentlemen," I shout. "I would like to welcome you to my downfall!" "I, Miles Grimwine, being of unsound mind, do hereby bequeath all my earthly possessions to the Otaku Association Committee, whenever it's established. Everyone else can go f---themselves." my mom taught me to spell that word (if I must use it) or, better yet, not spell it, and, sadly, this has stuck.

He’d always been there whenever she needed him, and now he was going to be on the other side of a very large building filled with lots of deadly Vampires. Margie delegated her people as well. She was sending Grant with Jo and Paul with Elliott. The other two people that would be going with Jo’s team were already in position on the Mall. Their names were Daniel and Pamela, and that’s all Jo knew about them, other than the fact that one was a Guardian, and the other was a Hunter.

“Juno and Cassie don’t need guards. They need ghosts. Shadows no one sees. I want two men on them day and night, invisible. If anyone breathes too close, I’ll carve their lungs out myself.” The table stayed silent. The air felt heavier, darker. Grimm rose, the chair scraping against the floor. “I built this ring from nothing. I bled for it. Fought until they named me Grim Reaper.” His grin was sharp, dangerous. “But this? This is personal. Whoever thinks they can touch Rhett’s world is going to learn fast the difference between the boy on the ice… and the man in the dark.” He glanced at Milan, eyes cold and final. “Find them. Bring me a name. And when you do… I’ll show the bastard exactly wh

Several years ago, Giles went on a mission to the witches’ world where he fell a victim of sorcery. He was entertained in an inn where he would be lodging throughout his mission and was not careful so his cover got blown. It only took a powder in the atmosphere for him to lose his senses and became a wanderer who didn’t have a purpose. He had forgotten everything about him and his existence not to talk of the mission he was there for. For days, he only kept eating and having fun while looking around while the prostitutes at the inn made sure he gets entertained every night. One fateful day, he was walking along the bridge that links the world to the other worlds when a wolf who knew him pass

I asked her. "I couldn't; your father and grandfather were watching me. To be honest with you, the only reason they have ignored my coven and let me live is that they hoped I would lead them to you. Which is what brings me to the matter at hand," she said, a bit more serious. "Giles blew up my coven because I have stopped being useful. I learned a werewolf tipped off some hunters about Karen, and they tricked Chelsea into confirming it. I think he wants his granddaughter back." She said, looking at Oscar.
