Ginny hadn't talked to me much and I wasn't permitted to go into her bedroom, so I took the chance and followed her in. "Hi, Ginny." She sat on the edge of her queen sized bed that had layers of quilts on it. All of which were missing stitches and patterns in some area. Patting her frail hand on a spot on the bed I knew she meant for me to sit. "You finally understand now." She smiled! I nodded without thinking. Maybe it was because Ginny rarely smiled. "Good. It's almost your 18th birthday. Your dreams will continue to get more vivid until you face the truth."

Violet woke up in the same room she had a few days ago. The woman sat up. Ginny was arranging something at the desk acros the wall. A sharp, painful twist seized her stomach. She moaned softly, clutching her midsection as the familiar wave of nausea washed over her. Ginny spun to look at her. "What happened?" she asked. Violet climbed down the bed as fast as she could and quiickly dashed towards the bathroom, despite the pain. The girl threw up. This time itw as just water as she had nothign solid to vomit now. Violet felt utterly weak. So much that she sat down right there on the floor.

What happened to her? She laughed again, “Unfortunately for me, I wasn't given that luxury.” Then she finally raised her head up and I could see the bruising under her eyes. The slightly purple blotch on the side of her neck, half-covered by her scarf. The weariness that clung to her like second skin. I gasped again, holding my chest. She got beaten up?! Why?! How?! “Ginny.” She said quietly, “Was never the child you all think she was. She has mental issues. When she was thirteen years old, Ginny killed a dog by hanging it on a tree. She smiled as she watched the dog suffocate to death.”

“She’s on her way. I got here first because I teleported.” Ginny pulls an object out of her pocket. It looks like a cross between a clock and a compass. The surface is coated with bits of hair strands. “I was able to do the location spell.” Just as she says it, Jane comes running out of the house. She spots us and hurries over. There are tear stains on her cheeks. “What the fuck is going on?” she sobs, wrapping her arms around herself. “How could she just have disappeared without anyone knowing?”

“Don’t sweat it, you’re not that special. That’s how she treats every new student. She has to assert her dominance. She’s going to be head girl, everyone knows that.” Of course and we think we are evolved species. I really could beat her to a pulp in front of everyone but look this is a new Ginny and I don’t want to insult Maggie by wasting this opportunity she has given me. “This is our class,” Lindsay said as she led me through the crowd. She gave me a guilty glance. “I peeked through your file and found out that you are in Class A. However, Leo is in Class B. There is another class and that’s Class C.”

He wants to ship me off to this bloody academy so he would continue being Alpha while I'm learning what exactly? This felt like exile disguised as honor. A way to get me out of his hair while he consolidated power. The thought made my blood boil. Bullshit, just bullshit. My eyes hardened with anger. Then I heard Riven continue, "The following names are chosen to come study at the Academy." Shyly poking my head inside the common room, I sighed in relief when I saw the group of boys that I helped in Chemistry, maybe they'd want to hang out with me. " Hello", I said in a small voice looking at them shyly. All of them looked up from where they were playing monopoly and flashed me a kind smile that eased my nerves. Choruses of hey followed around, and Jordan flashed me a huge smile patting the space beside him, I hesitantly made my way towards it smiling awkwardly.

RUBY The first thing you'll probably notice about this girl was her height. I'd call it average, rather than tall. She was very pretty and smiled brightly. She had long black hair and an athletic body. She was free spirited and outgoing. My brothers would like this one, I thought. I was a bit surprised when she said she had not yet heard about the Grace's of Gryffindor. Nobody said that. I found this very interesting. The whole school knew about the Grace's of Gryffindor. Not only were they popular, they were the most handsome of all the guys in Gryffindor.

Except that I didn't need a love potion to be crazy about Mey. And the kiss. How could I not talk about the kiss? I suddenly felt like a sixteen years old boy, who hasn't been with a bunch of girls. One who was super nervous about his first kiss. By the time I went home, it was hell. I heard screams before I even put the key in the lock. Who would have thought that three girls could make so much noise?! I swung the door open and locked it behind me. "What is going on?" I looked at Nat's red face then shifted my gaze to Jo before it finally landed on Tay. I frowned. "What is wrong with you?" I approached her with widened eyes as I tried not to cringe. Her beautiful blonde hair was now white.

My heart pounded so loudly that the moment I caught my reflection in the mirror, tears streamed down like there was no tomorrow. "I will never forgive you," I muttered under my breath, staring into my own eyes, consumed by thoughts of the jerk who wrecked my mental, physical, and emotional well-being. After composing myself, I left the room and found Lord Rennick waiting for us in the foyer. "Ginny will be accompanying you two. As always, you are not allowed to sit next to Sawyer or--" he began to explain, but I noticed even Ginny wasn't wearing a uniform. I understood why.
