Louis Reginald Sparks, twenty-seven-year-old vocalist of the band Run Up My Galaxy, charming and a minion of fate, like any normal person, loved surprises. In fact, I used to love it. His younger brother Tom is too. However, the surprises presented by their common beloved woman with the gentle nickname Kitsune sometimes made them pretty nervous.

×Higan× "Here," I said as I handed Jamie a plate with two chicken mayonnaise sandwiches on it. He took it without taking his eyes off of the TV and set it on the space on his left. "Thanks." I sat down next to him and looked at the screen to see his progress. Jamie watched the screen with intense concentration as he led his player through the field. His skills at COD weren't that good but I felt a weird sense of pride at watching him try his best.

“Just leave them alone, honey. They need to explore. You know how he is, always busy with everything. When he appreciates a pretty woman like Carmen, well, why not. I think she is pretty too. A very lovely young woman, if I may say so.” “Thank you, ma’am,” Carmen acknowledged with a smirk before heading back to her duties in the kitchen. “Pass me the juice,” Gaby politely requested from Brian, who was quietly enjoying his meal. They engaged in lively chatter until the plates were cleared. Afterward, they gathered to watch a live football game featuring Brazil against Argentina. They were divided into teams, with Camilo and Gaby supporting Brazil, while Thalia and Brian cheered for Argentina.

I have to save …. “The Alpha has done it again.” I felt a tingle as something touched my thigh. I motioned towards my thigh, wondering what it could be to be able to have such soft skin like a human hand. “Ahhhhh!” I screamed as I spotted Jimmy’s head next to me. “Any member of the Moon Hound Pack is an enemy even if he/she is as weak as a scout. The assassin who learned the art of Tai might still be among us for all I know, thanks to General Kyle.” Ryu’s voice deepened.

I grumble, adjusting the strap of my bag on my shoulder. He gestures for me to go first, and I sigh. Upon reaching the elevator, I hand my empty tumbler to one of the gentlemen standing at the ready and hit the button. I shouldn't have downed the coffee so quickly. I'd regret it later, but it's absolutely what I need right now. I can feel Leander's lovingly judgmental eyes on me, and I roll mine. I love the security these sunglasses give me.
