I took another step, my pulse screaming in my ears. “Last warning, Mr Roland” “Try me.” I meant it. Arya marveled at how her legs still functioned. After Leonardo had her folded like a lawn chair in all sorts of positions last night, here she was, tending to babies and their mothers the next day. Gloria approached with a smile. “Mrs. Marcello, good morning.” “Ah, Gloria. Good morning. How was your night?” Arya asked, recalling that Gloria had been attacked by kidnappers just days ago. “Very good, except for the nightmares. As he glances back at Darryl, Leonardo says, “He can do the dirty work for us!” He gets off Katcha and lifts her, making her face the glowing man. She gasps and takes in a deep breath as the pressure of the sofa is taken off her face. She squints through the plastic, unable to discern what was making such a bright light. “Now, Goldie! Send her to Hell!” Leonardo commands with a triumphant smile. Not a split second later, he gets thrown across the room, knocking the air out of his lungs. The light fades not long after. Goldie walks over to Katcha and grabs her by the arm.

I quickly canceled the call. I had set the meeting with Avery earlier and I didn’t mention the participants. Avery would cut my throat with just a stare when she figured out the people she would be meeting up. I placed a quick call to Gloria but she wasn’t answering. “Papa Raymond” my mind raced back to the fact Gloria may be in danger. I continued to call and dropped several voicemails until a text came in from her. Chill Ans, I will be with Henry soon. Gloria is one person the world can’t describe her as good or bad, she tends to always sit on the fence and that has been of much help to us each time we are trying to make a treaty with the others.
