Sara reported. “Hugo is at work. He works until four or five on Fridays normally,” Rocco said once we stepped outside. “Where does he work?” I asked. “A brothel near Calabogie.” “I know it,” I said, looking at Sara. “You’re free to go.” I turned to Rocco, undoing my alpha aura. We got back into the car and drove just over a half hour to get to Hugo’s place of work. I was familiar with it as that was where we got our wolfsbane darts supply, which would explain how the rogue was able to obtain them.

Even pushing together, we can't move the rock. The goblins are too close now. Within a matter of seconds, they'll be on us. Closing my eyes, I take a deep breath. There it is. The tiny flicker inside of me. Focusing on it, I let it grow ... and then I unleash it. The rock rolls down the hill and hits the first goblin. It screams as it's knocked off its feet and tumbles down the rocky terrain. The rock hits a couple more goblins, and the sight is gruesome. They definitely won't be getting back up. The rest of their buddies shriek in terror and back away, knowing they're in for something similar.

“We’re gonna teach this fucker a lesson.” I lowered the LED a few inches and spotted the disgusting thing crawling up the wall. I could try several paragraphs of description, and you will think I should’ve just said it looked like Gollum and save everybody time. So yeah, that’s what it looked like. “A crawler?” I said mockingly. “You fucking roach are the infamous Skippy?” The dark thing tried to sneak into the door to Quaker Hall basement, but I aimed my LED at the doorway, making it crawl back and up toward the ceiling.

We follow behind. A hidden cave lies behind the water, with shimmering crystals all around the entrance. She manages to stay completely dry, while Gabe and I’s coats are both soaked. There were no windows in here, the only source of light were glowing crystals placed around the cave. She leads us to the end of the cave, before pulling on a purple crystal. The ground starts to shake as the cave opens up more, revealing rows and rows of bookshelves. How will she ever find the spell she needs in this abundance of books?

She didn’t respond, just kept looking around as though trying to understand. A goblin waddled into the room, carrying a wooden pail of water in his hands, his stubby fingers gripping the handle in a white-knuckled grasp as he heaved with the weight. He paced slowly, carefully, the big pointed ears of his head twitching. Celeste turned her head. Her eyes turned to the goblin. And she screamed. A bloodcurdling scream that could raise the dead. The goblin dropped the pail, startled, and yelped. Water slopped over the floor, wetting the wooden planks.

Either that or not made it so everything feels real. Looking at the Giant Goblin, I wondered where the weak point on it was. During the Beta version, it had been on its stomach, with a mark to indicate what needed to be hit, looking at it now, I didn’t see any revealing mark. It was approximately twenty feet tall, dark green with a large muscular body and a small head, with pointy ears. It wore an armor plate over its chest. “Any idea where the weak spot is?” I came to a stop, not wanting to initiate the fight until I had a little more information.

Lilith and I exchanged worried glances, unsure of what we were about to face. "This place gives me the creeps," Lilith whispered. "I don't like it here." "I don't either," I replied. "But we have to keep going. We have to find that ingredient." As we entered the cave, we were met with a labyrinth of twisting tunnels and ominous chambers. We pressed on, searching for the rare ingredient that could save Amelia. But as we ventured deeper into the cave, we began to realize that we were not alone. The cave was inhabited by dark creatures, twisted abominations that seemed to be born from the very darkness that had consumed Amelia.

Chapter Twenty-Six Anders Hidden deep within the castle, underneath the ground was a cave. It wasn’t really a cave as in the word, but a place that looked like one. Gargoyles were stationed at almost every corner making it look eerie. These gargoyles came to life once they sensed a Vampire within their territory, and each of them belonged to every Vampire in the Kingdom. I walked to my own. It was short, and barely reached my knees. Its teeth was bared in what was supposed to be a smile, but instead, it looked like a scary creature smiling at its prey.

Goblins have short fangs and claws, and their skin is tinged in green variations depending on the areas they are from and have facial tattoos of complex lines lining their jaw or sometimes one side of their face depending on their strength. We came to the river and waded in following it upstream for a few miles, feeling that it was sufficient, and our trail lost we exited the river and headed back into the trees searching for cover, careful not to leave a trail they could follow. “There’s a cave a few miles up.” Gia announced, and pointed in the proper direction. Her gift of controlling and speaking with the earth was amazingly helpful. “Let’s go then. I’m freezing.” Sunama muttered through

Tommy just nodded while he lay Diana in the nearby makeshift bed in the corner of the entrance of the cave and told the panhandler to take some rabbit blood for later. Upon looking at the forlorn wolf and the unconscious woman, Cavin realized of the battle that had happened in the mangroves moor and the gigantic goblin had been a tragedy. He knew they only left death and destruction in their wake.
